Arrowmax have introduced their new 7.4V 5000mAh low-profile LiPo battery pack. Aimed at touring car racers the battery utilises an only 22.5mm tall hardcase to lower the car’s centre of gravity. It is made using high-performance 55C/110C cells, ideal for both Modified and Stock racing, and uses 5mm tube-type connectors.

During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan Sanwa have introduced the new Super Vortex Gen2 and Super Vortex Stock Type brushless speed controllers. Starting with the Super Vortex Gen2, the controller is the follow-up model of the Super Vortex Zero and features SSR and SSL compatibility, it can make use of the Code 10 feature for M12S and Exzes ZZ radios and it also sports improved telemetry functions. All that is housed in a new all-aluminium case and the controller is fully programmable using Sanwa’s optional programming box.
Hobbywing have introduced their new WiFi Express module for the use with the Xerun and Ezrun range of brushless speed controllers. Used in lieu of the LCD Programming Box the device allows for easy setting changes of the controller’s software using an iOS or Android-based mobile device while also giving access to the data logging feature of the XR10 Pro speed controller. On top of this the module makes for easy firmware updates to stay up-to-date with the latest releases. The device is powered by the controller’s build-in fan port, it measures 25.7×25.7×8.8mm and weighs in at only 11g.

The higher capacity pack is made using 50C cells while the 4500mAh variant is made of 40C cells with both batteries utilising protective hardcases and they come pre-wired with T-type power connectors and XH balancer ports for save and convenient use.
Trinity have introduced their all-new White Carbon 14.8V 4S LiPo battery pack. Built from high-performance 6000mAh 60C cells the hard-case battery is ideal for demanding 1/8th scale applications and it utilises 5mm gold-plated bullet-type connectors over the usual wires for cleaner wiring.
