Tekin Redline Gen3 brushless motors

Available soon are Tekin’s all-new Redline Gen3 540-size electric brushless motors. The third generation Redlines are re-engineered from the ground up resulting in a smaller, lighter and faster sensored motor that also delivers smooth power across the whole RPM range. The Gen3 21.5T, 17.5T and 13.5T are available in an RPM version as well as the standard versions. Designed for applications where higher RPM is more beneficial than torque, these motors are ideal for 1/12th and touring car racing classes. The Gen3 modified group of motors are custom tuned with rotor sizes to give you the performance needed for your application. The 21.5T down to 8.5T group come standard with 12.5mm performance rotors and the 7.5T to 2.5T group are equipped with a 13mm rotor for that extra torque needed in modified racing.

GForce TS90+ sensored brushless speed controller

Japanese company GForce have introduced the TS90+ brushless speed controller. Rated at 90A content current the speedo is good for the use with motors down to 5.5T at 2S LiPo battery packs. The controller is usable with or without an additional fan unit, it measures 39x38x20mm and it offers 6V/3A BEC output as well as several turbo and timing functions which are accessible using an optional programming box or GForce’s WiFi Link. The ESC comes pre-wired with 14AWG silicone wires, a power capacitor and it will become available with a black or orange heatsink.

SkyRC iMax B6AC V2 balance charger

Coming from SkyRC is the iMax B6AC balancer charger and discharger. The updated V2 version offers additional features while being more accurate at the same time. One of the new features is a user-adjustable terminal voltage and the device can now also have its firmware upgraded using a Windows-based PC. On top of that the V2 allows to monitor the battery’s internal resistance and an automatic charging current limit, capacity limit, temperature threshold and charging time limit make for additional safety.

Arrowmax 2800mAh 2S super shorty LiPo battery

Arrowmax have further extended their line of LiPo battery packs with the introduction of the 7.4V 2800mAh super shorty pack. Sporting the size of a single saddle pack the item is much small and lighter than a conventional shorty battery, allowing for super-light vehicle setups. Made from low-capacity yet lightweight high-performance 55C/110C cells the pack is ideal for 2WD vehicles. The hardcase is equipped with through-type 4mm connector tubes and 2mm balancer ports.

Arrowmax 7800mAh 2S LiPo hardcase battery pack

Arrowmax have a new high-performance battery available in the form of the 7800mAh 2S LiPo pack. Built using high-capacity 55C/110C cells the battery comes in handy for all power hungry applications such as 1/10th touring cars as well as 1/8th E-buggies. The protective hardcase features standard 4mm bullet-type connector tubes which are accessible from both the top and bottom side and it is of standard 2S dimensions.

RC Concept EC8 1/8th scale brushless motor

French company RC Concept introduce their new EC8 electric brushless motor for 1/8th scale classes. Featuring a 7075-T6 aluminium can, high-quality neodymium magnet and copper wire material, the motor will produce more torque while offering increased efficiency. The backplate sports dual sensor ports and the motor is available in a 1900kv, 2100kv and 2500kv variant all of which are usable with 3S to 4S input.

Corally 75W soldering station

New from Corally comes a 75W soldering station. Featuring a high-power Hakko heating element the station reaches the working temperature fast while the microprocessor-controlled unit allows for easy setup and temperature adjustment in 1 degree Celsius increments. The soldering iron sports a comfortable rubber handle and the soldering tip is replaceable without any additional tools. A sleeping mode and automatic shutdown makes for convenient, economic and secure usage of the station that allows for a temperature range of 200 to 450 degree Celsius or the respective Fahrenheit equivalent.

Reedy Sonic 540-M3 competition brushless motors

Reedy have introduced the new Sonic 540-M3 540-size competition brushless motors. On the outside, the 540-M3 appears very similar to the Mach 2, but look closely nothing has been carried over from the previous model. A 3-piece CNC machined can reduces weight while improving airflow, component fit, and bearing alignment. Heavy-duty silver-plated solder tabs are not only thicker to reduce resistance, but are also cupped to aid soldering, and well supported to prevent internal connections from fatiguing over time. Inside the motors feature an all-new stator design, pure copper magnet wire, and low-resistance collector rings. Available short-stack 17.5 and 13.5 versions suit 1S-powered pan cars and under the right circumstances can create a power advantage in 2S-powered buggies, trucks, and touring cars while the modified variants offer a new stator design which improves mid-range feel. A balanced, high-strength sintered rotor provides powerful, fade-free performance thanks to improved manufacturing processes. To fine-tune for specific applications and tracks, a variety of optional rotors are available. Lastly, larger precision stainless steel ball bearings have been fitted to accommodate high RPM loads with improved reliability. Several versions, from 3.5T to 9.5T modified and 10.5T to 25.5T, are available and all meet ROAR, EFRA, and IFMAR specifications.
