Reedy have released the powerful and reliable Sonic 1512 competition brushless motor which has been designed specifically for the 1:8 electric buggy and truggy classes. A precision-machined case features an integrated heat sink to lower operating temperatures, which results in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life. Sensored operation results in a smooth and controllable power band, while a high-torque 4-pole rotor featuring neodymium sintered magnets is supported by precision ball bearings for maximum power output and reliability. A choice of three versions means that there is a Sonic 1512 competition brushless motor to suit most tracks and conditions.

Robitronic have introduced these two new receiver packs featuring a hard case. Often the 7.4 volts that come from a LiPo pack is too much for receivers or servos, so if you don’t want to use a regulator you can use Robitronic’s LiFe Packs which output 6.6 volts directly. The hump pack weighs 95 grams and has a capacity of 2000mAh while the stick pack is 1600mAh and weighs 80 grams.
Nosram have released this 20A power supply. It features dual output sockets, works with 110V and 230V input and delivers 13.8V and a maximum of 20A to power chargers, dischargers and any other device that makes use of 12V input. Additionally a 5V/1A USB charge output is integrated to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones.

Weighing in at only 86g this light weight helps optimise the transmitter’s balance, while the high capacity of this 2400mAh 2S battery guarantees a significantly extended operating time of the transmitter. LRP have also released s complete line of high quality differential and shock oil, available in 11 and 10 different viscosities respectively.
TrakPower introduce several new LiPo battery packs build from 50C to 70C cells. The hardcase packs come as 1S, 2S, 4S and 6S variant with bullet or Deans Ultra Plug connectors and include 1S 1/12th, 2S 95mm ‘shorty’ and 4S 1/8th scale packs.

Chinese manufacturer Tianhao, better known for their FGX Rabbit chassis, have introduced their all new UFO 540 type brushless motors. Not your standard configuration, the UFO motor sees the sensor and timing plate placed at the shaft end of the motor with a vented end bell at the rear end, which in a touring car sits in an area of high airflow. This new layout not only brings the wires into a more convenient spot but more importantly allows the heat built up in the can to escape unobstructed, making a more efficient motor. The motors are available in both anodized black or blue and Tianhao have a full range of winds as well as a range of 550 motors for short course.
