Reedy 60C Competition LiPo Batteries

Reedy have announced the arrival of 60C competition LiPo batteries for the 2011 racing season. Competition tested and proven by top drivers Juho Levanen, Keven Hébert, Rick Hohwart and Christer Andersson, these all-new batteries feature high capacity for maximum duration and dimensions that fall within the specs required by international sanctioning bodies (approvals in process). Each battery features Reedy’s molded hard case and industry-standard 4mm socket connectors to minimize resistance and increase power. A pair of connectors is included with each battery. The saddle pack battery also includes a 12-gauge jumper wire with pre-installed 4mm connectors.

Speed Passion RC Car A1 App

Speed Passion, has introduced their new ‘App’ for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The new application, called ‘RC Car A1’, works with almost all RC Cars on the market and features a stop watch and lap counting features, a gear ratio calculator for electric on road and off road as well as for gas cars and the ability to save and share, through Facebook or the SP website, your Speed Passion ESC setup as well as setups for other brands of ESC like LRP, Tekin and more. Future development will include the ability to adjust and update the firmware of your Speed Passion ESC through the device itself using the application. Available now through the Apple App store.

Team Powers Plutonium motor

Team Powers have announced the upcoming release of their Plutonium motor. This new design features a lightweight motor can and machined endbell and back plate for extra cooling, while the cans have also been left open for easy soldering. Full information on the different versions is expected soon.

Moore-Speed 5600mAh 50C LiPo battery

Moore-Speed, the new brand of 2006 ISTC World Champion Andy Moore, have released their first product, this 5600mAh 50C LiPo battery. Ideal for 1/10th Touring Car, as well as 2WD Off Road, this pack is aimed at the competition market and was used by Andy himself to win the last round of the British TC Nationals as well as finishing 4th at this summer’s European Championships in France. Better suited to Modified classes of racing due to its increased run time it features a matt finish hard case for crash protection and comes supplied with either bullet connectors or pre wired with a deans connector.
