LRP releases the first ever tailor-made Soldering Station designed and fully setup to handle all the needs of a soldering station for r/c use. With its 90W power rating and 400kHz electromagnetic heating element, this soldering station reaches maximum temperature (480C) super fast, and is perfect to use for soldering joints on batteries, motors and speed controls. Reedy have released a new version of the popular Wolfpack 3600mAh battery pack which is now available in a version featuring a whopping 9.6V of pure power. Assembled using Reedy’s 3600mAH high-tech SC-R cells in a configuration that drops straight into the Traxxas Slash, it comes supplied with a Traxxas High-Current Connector to deliver power to the ESC with less resistance and heat than ever before. To further minimize power-robbing resistance and heat, welded connections between each cell and thick 14AWG silicone power wires ensure maximum performance and reliability.

Speed Passion Special edition motors

Speed Passion have been in contact to give us a preview of their great looking new special edition Competition 2.0 brushless motors. Perfect in time for the World Championships this November, the new motors are decorated in the names of the company’s factory drivers and carry their own unique colour scheme. Motors are available from Marc Rheinard, Jilles Groskamp, Viktor Wilck, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya and Toni Rheinard. Speed Passion have had a good year so far winning the European 1/10th and 1/12th scale Championships, LRP Masters, pre Worlds in Thailand, the Euro Touring series and the IIC, but can they get a perfect run and take the Worlds too, they seem to have a very strong team going into the event.

Novak Havoc Sport sensored BL system

Novak have released their Havoc Sport sensored brushless system. Though the sport system offers the same great features found in all Novak motors and speed controls, it exceeds expectations with its performance and unmatched affordability. The 540-sized motor is equipped with a sintered rotor for precise throttle response and resistance to high temperatures, and is sensored for low-speed driveability and consistent brakes. The Havoc Sport brushless/brush ESC contains one of the strongest BECs for sport applications and includes nine adjustable parameters to fine-tune brake and throttle response.

Team Cobra Sino Racing Servos & Charger

Cobra Sino Racing have announced the release of some new servos as well as a new charger. Their new Analogue servos come in 6kg and 9kg versions and are both metal geared with coreless motors and come with a blue anodized heat sink as part of the casing. They also have 2 new digital servos that have state of the art digital SMT technology, have coreless motors and also come with a blue anodized heat sink as part of the casing. These servos also use top of the line IC’s together with multiple layer circuits boards. There is also a new AC/DC Silent Charger, that is a state of the art microprocessor based charger/discharger system. The DiamondBack is a switch type unit and can fully charge 1 to 15 Ni-MH and Ni-Cd cells at a digitally preset amperage of up to a maximum 5.0A using peak detection and temperature limiting methods. The DiamondBack can also charge Lithium batteries up to 6 cells as well as lead acid cells.

LRP A.I. Runner Bullet Reverse ESC

More news from LRP who have announced the new A.I. Runner Bullet Reverse, a 100% waterproof speed control that can be operated under water with full power. With LRP’s exclusive true Automatic technology, a push button setup is completely unnecessary, just plug-in the speedo and drive. The speed control immediately ‘learns’ the individual transmitter setting and is perfectly set-up for every run with the correct neutral, full speed forward and full speed reverse transmitter settings. Whatever your car’s configuration is, the LRP True Automatic adapts to it and determines your perfect configuration. The ESC also contains a Fail Safe System that continuously monitors the radio signals being sent to your RC car. If incomplete or ‘false’ signals are received as a result of low batteries or radio frequency interference, it will react instantly and shut off your model to protect it against damage.

New from Losi is this 7.4V 4200mAh 2-cell 30C LiPo battery pack with EC3 connector. Mounted in a hard case to keep the cells from becoming damaged externally, the high voltage cells feature low internal resistance for unmatched power transfer, while the pre-wired EC3 connector also provides ultra-low resistance.

Much More Mini Motor Master Mount

Much More have released details about this new mini motor mount for use with their Motor Master device. A simple tool, it comes in 3 different anodized colours – black, purple and blue, and is supplied with a suitable shaft for measuring the motors RPM within the Motor Master. Expected it to be released in mid September.
