H.A.R.D. have released this H6804 Dual Mode electronic speed controller, which will operates any 19 Turn + (stock) motor and is perfect for this class of racing, giving the user state of the art engineering in a compact, ready to use package. Setup is easy and the dual modes with reverse give you total control of your speed configuration. The ESC has two setup modes, Gentle Mode for 50% output and Fierce Mode for 100% output allowing you to ‘dial-in’ your car for high or low speed racing, depending on your racing skill.

GM Racing Brushless Pro 6T motor

GM Racing Brushless Pro motors

We recently told you about the new range of Brushless Pro motors from GM Racing, but to add to the range that was already announced, a 6T version is also now available. This is the motor the current British Champion Chris Grainger has been using recently with great success, winning the recent Aldershot BRCA National. The 6T delta winding is equivalent to a regular 3T, with the delta type winding giving greater efficiency and therefore run time over the normal Y type winding as per most current brushless motors. Pricing on this motor is also extremely competitive but does not reflect its awesome performance.

E-Power 4500mAh & 1600mAh cells

Etang Power, makers of the E-Power cells have been in contact, to inform us about the release of 2 new cells. The new E-Power 4500 Sub C cell has an average voltage of 1.235V, before zapping, at 30A discharging rate and an IR of 1.6-1.8, also before zapping. The company are also claiming 540 seconds runtime at 30A discharge rate. Also new from the same company are some E-Power 1600 2/3A cell and an average voltage of 1.05-1.06V.

Trinity Products Inc. have announced that the World famous Intellect Batteries have moved into the LiPo R/C battery market, the biggest growing segment of the R/C car & truck hobby. Intellect brings their extensive knowledge of manufacturing LiPo batteries for full scale electric cars into the R/C industry and have released a full line of LiPo packs for air, ground and powering your radio equipment. Expected to be avaiable in June, these battery packs carry the highest ‘C’ rating.

CS-Super Sport BL Motor 13.5T

CS-Super Sport Brushless Motor 13.5T

CS Electronic have announced the release of this new Super Sport 13.5T brushless motor, which is aimed at club racing and other spec racing series’. The winding of this motor, along with the rotor, has been optimised for best performance and power delivery, while the ventilation holes in the can greatly help reduce the working temperature and thus help increase efficiency. This motor has been approved by the DMC (German RC car Federation) for use as the spec motor in the 2wd and 4wd buggy championships, but can also be used as a spec motor in touring car classes.

Much More LiPo Cell Balancer

Much More have released the LiPo Cell Balancer, designed to regulate the voltages of all cells in a lithium-polymer (LiPo) packs to very tight tolerances during charge and discharge functions. As opposed to non-balanced packs, balanced LiPo’s typically provide higher total voltage, which means more power to the motor system and the packs generally last longer as no individual cell ever becomes over charged, which is a big reason why some LiPo’s perform inadequately. A good balancing system also provides a very safe charging and discharging platform, which is critical when handling LiPo batteries. Cell balancer is designed to balance LiPo packs containing anywhere from 2 to 6 cells which are assembled in series and will keep the voltages of all cells in the pack within 20mV (0.02V) of each other at all times. Much More also provide a number of adaptor cables for use with the majority of packs available currently on the market.

Corally Lipo Saddle, VRS cells & BL motor

Corally have released some new electric products including a number of new battery packs. Amongst the new releases is this this new 7.4V IP4800 LiPo Saddle Pack, while for more conventional battery layouts there are some new 4200 VRS cells, in 3 different specifications, and in packs of 4, 5 and 6 cells. Using the same cells, Corally have also released 2 new 7.2V 6-cell ready made stick packs containing 3600 or 4200 cells. Finally from the Dutch company is the new X-BP brushless motor, available in 6T, 7T, 8T, 9T, 10T, 17T, 19T and 27T, which has finally been released after first being shown at the Nurnberg toy fair back in February.
