Tekin Hot Wire ESC/PC Interface

Horizon Hobby are promoting the late March release of the the HotWire PC Interface from Tekin, a system that allows you to unlock the full potential of your speed control. Use the HotWire to connect your ESC to your PC or laptop and you can leverage the processing power of your computer to fine tune its performance characteristics. The HotWire also gives access to custom user settings that are not available through the Speed Control’s on-board interface and lets you network with other users to share tweaks, tuning tricks and entire track/condition specific profiles. Best of all the HotWire lets you download completely new software as it is developed and upload it to your Speed Control, giving you unrestricted access to upgrade to Tekin’s latest and newest performance mods.

Much More Stone Finisher Tool

Much More have released this stone finisher tool set for preparing stone cutters that cut lay down or stand up brushes surface smoother than a metal blade cutter. The set is sold separately to the stone brush cutter but is supplied with the blue anodised brush setter and stone block. New stone cutters can be cut to the users desired diameter with the stone block and when finished is turned upside down and mounted to the motor shaft as normal. The supplied brush setter cuts the brushes to 0.0mm or zero timing.

Speed Passion have released the 2nd generation of their competition series brushless motors. HPI Racing Patrick Charger & Dock

Made in collaboration with Much More in Korea, HPI Racing have announced the release of this new charger, for some reason called Patrick. Powered by mains supply or alternatively from a 12V DC source, this charger works with 1 – 14 NiCd and NiMh cells and 1 – 6 LiPo cells. Featuring the usual adjustments you find in a high end charger, it has a charging and discharging range of 0.1A ~ 6A and has a temperature based cut off system. As with the Much More system, there is an additional docking station sold for the charger that allows you to connect a number of other items that require specific leads, such as transmitter and receiver packs.

Dynamite Prophet Select Peak Charger

Dynamite have released this inexpensively priced charger which has selectable current adjustment, an excellent choice for entry-level modelers who require different charging current rates. Designed for use with radio, mini and conventional sub-C batteries, the user can choose 1, 2 and 4-amp selectable charge rates with peak detection for optimal battery performance. Powered by 12 volts DC, it is supplied with a prewired Tamiya connector and has reverse polarity protection.

Dynamite EP4600 6 Cell Flat pack

Dynamite have released this 4600MAh 6 cell pack in a flat configuration. Featuring EP cells, this pack overs long runtimes, even exceeding rated capacity and they have been designed for low resistance without cell damage under high amp loads. Supplied with a Traxxas connector, it can handle the high currents associated with brushless application.
