Sunpadow Phantom II Black Label LiPo packs

Sunpadow have announced the release of their new Phantom II Black Label competition LiPo battery range. Listening to the feedback of their factory drivers, the packs utilise a new technology and production process, making for improved performance while being more cost efficient for the customer at the same time. The range includes standard and shorty options with the standard size range coming as 8800mAh (25.1mm/308g), 6600mAh (23.1mm/312g), 6300mAh (23.1mm/288g), 6000mAh (23.1mm/295g), and 5600mAh (23.1mm/277g) variants. The shorty batteries are available as 2S 5100mAh (25.1mm/215g), 4500mAh (25.1mm/214g) and 4000mAh (18.5mm/157g) options and also as 8000mAh (18.5mm/155g) 1S 1/12th scale battery. All feature black hardcases with black labels and they come in zipped storage containers.

Trion have introduced their new TricoRoll V2 JMRCA 13.5T and 17.5T brushless stock motors that come standard with 14mm titanium rotors. The two electric brushless motors offer very high torque values, making them ideal for racing on high-grip carpet and dirt tracks as well as in non-boost touring classes. Highly machined aluminium cans ensure low operation temperatures while adding to the overall looks.

ISDT 608AC smart charger

Coming from ISDT is their all-new 608AC smart charger that is usable with both AC or DC input power. The modular design of the device allows to use it with an external 12VDC power source such as the new, modular AC power supply that conveniently attaches to the charger’s case, doing away with unnecessary wiring. The charger features a built-in 2S to 6S LiPo balancer, a back-lit display, and it supports ISDT’s BattGo one-click smart battery technology that allows for automatic battery detection when using compatible battery packs. Menu operation is carried out using a single shuttle roll twist and push knob and the charger is capable of up to 200W of charing power when used in DC mode.

SRP iCharger 308/406 Duo V2 charger stand

Schaffner Racing Products have introduced their new V2 charger stand for the popular iCharger 308 and 406 Duo chargers. The all new design sits 25mm lower than its predecessor, and is easier to assemble due to its unique dual tab/slot design. It also straddles any power supply up to 87mm wide, which helps to maximise the functionality of any pit space and holds the charger at the perfect angle for viewing from the seated position. The stand is 3-D-printed, weighs in at about 56g and it is available in all black as well as black/red, black/pink, black/orange, black/green and black/blue variants.

CS Electronic Rocket V5.1 220A brushless ESC

CS Electronic from Germany have introduced their new Rocket V5.1 220A speed controller for 1/10th scale applications. Developed especially for competitive on-road and off-road racing, the V5.1 offers very smooth throttle control, reliability, performance and lots of safety features. New FETs allow for up to 220A of peak current while the new, smaller case improving heat dissipation while taking less space in crowded chassis environments. The new V5.4.1 firmware ensures best possible throttle and brake control and it offers both modified and blinky stock racing modes. Other features include 3rd-channel compatibility with certain Sanwa and Futaba transmitters and the controller is usable with both sensored and sensorless motors.

Team Powers Radon Pro V4 1S speed controller

Team Powers have announced the soon release of their Radon Pro V4 1S speed controller for 1/12th scale applications. Compared to the previous version the speedo features more powerful FETs for a lower internal resistance and thus higher power and lower operation temperatures. The all-aluminium case received a new low-profile design that scrubs 2mm of height for easier placement in the car while the V4 controller is also about ten percent lighter. Other features include a CH3/CH4 auxiliary function to adjust features such as throttle rate, RPM lock, turbo functions and more using a 3/4-channel transmitter. Last but not least does an optimised brake software offer a more linear feeling, ensuring better car control.
