Reedy S-Plus 12.5mm HT rotor

Reedy have announced a hi-torque rotor option for the popular Sonic S-Plus Spec motor range. Because the rotor is produced using high-strength material, low-end torque and brake strength are improved with a reduction in fade during a race. The Hi-Torque rotor comes balanced for smooth operation and is easily identified by the part number laser etched on the shaft and its distinctive blue ring.

Avid 2S-8S LiPo voltage checker

Coming from Avid is their new LiPo voltage checker for 2S to 8S LiPo battery packs. The overall voltage can be checked by plugging the black wire of the balance port to the left side of the checker with the device displaying the voltage on the large display. The total voltage range is 0.5V to 36V with the alarm set value range being “off” or 2.7V to 3.8V with the preset being 3.3V per cell. The voltage checker is available in black or white colour and it is usable with all ranges of LiPo batteries.

Speedzone 2.5T drag racing brushless motor

Coming soon from Speedzone is their new 2.5T drag racing motor. The highly powerful motor comes equipped with a 13.5mm high torque rotor and it features high RPM precision bearings, high-temp high-purity copper stator wire and a low-resistance stator. It is built using a CNC-machined Billet T6 aluminium can, is equipped with high-power sintered neodymium magnets and it will become available in a standard or tuned variant.

Speedzone have introduced their new oval diameter 7.4V 4000mAh hardcase LiPo battery pack. Ideal for a range of applications including ready-to-run vehicles, certain Tamiya kits or starter boxes, the hardcase “racing pack”-style battery is made of high-quality 50C LiPo cells and it offers a high capacity for long operation times. The pack comes pre-wired with an industry-standard balancer power and a T-type power plug.

Reedy Blackbox 1000Z+ Pro sensored brushless ESC

Team Associated have introduced the new Reedy 1000Z+ Pro censored brushless competition speed controller. The simple to use, yet powerful ESC offers versatile features that make it suitable for both Modified and Spec class racers. Excellent throttle and brake feel, a wide range of adjustability, and robust hardware make the Blackbox 1000Z+ PRO an excellent choice for a variety of racing applications. Improving upon the 1000Z+ it replaces, the 1000Z+ Pro features a CNC-machined top case with an integrated heat sink, fan port, and bolt pattern suitable for an optional 30mm fan. Additional Drag Brake, Drive Frequency, and Max Brake Strength settings option have been added to allow for even greater fine tuning. A more reliable Power button, shared with the 510R ESC, doubles as a selection button for settings changes. However, by popular demand, the option to make settings changes using the optional Black PROgrammer2, has been added.

SMJ M17 wireless charger set

SMJ have introduced a wireless charger set for the Sanwa M17 transmitter. The charger was designed to simply place the radio on top of it, allowing to charger its batteries without removing them from the transmitter. The charger bay is also usable for smartphones with wireless charging capabilities. Not includes in the set is the needed AC adapter.

Tekin Gen3 motor ceramic bearings

Coming for Tekin’s Gen3 and Spec-R electric brushless motors are new ceramic ball bearings. Extremely low friction and precision manufacturing provides a noticeable increase in motor RPM output while lowering drag and increasing efficiency. The ball races also fit the older Gen2 and Gen1 motors and they are available now.

Reds Racing ZX Pro 160A speed controller

Reds Racing from Italy have introduced their all-new ZX Pro 160A 1/10th scale brushes speed controller. The no-compromised ESC was developed with the input of Reds Racing’s international team of factory drivers and it features an updated firmware with new algorithms for throttle and brake control that result in the smoothest possible throttle and very strong brake feeling. At 95g including wires the controller is also lighter than the previous version while offering new programming functions. The speedo features a built-in power switch and programming port, it utilises a switchable 6V/7.4V BEC system as well as a 30mm fan unit. The ZX Pro is available separately, including programming box or Z-Line motors.
