Trinity Monster Horsepower even turn mod motors

Coming from Trinity are their new Monster Horsepower even turn modified brushless motors. Designed for all-out power and speed the motors feature an aluminium-based sensor board for true sensor alignment, infinity timing adjustment and 2mm copper taps and thicker pure-copper collectors. Other features include thermal stator coating for best possible heat dissipation, a turbine-style vented nose, additional cooling vents and new 220°C wire coating. A short stack stator sign, new stator material and Grade 5 bearings round out the package. The motors are available in 3.0T to 7.0T windings.

Maclan Racing MRR V2m modified brushless motor

Maclan Racing have introduced their all-new MRR V2m modified class motor, based on their popular MRR Team Edition V2 stock class platform. With a completely redesigned stator and windings, updated end cap, and 12.20mm ultra smooth rotor, the V2m provides much smoother low to mid-range power band. It also reduces weight by an average of twelve percent over its predecessor. Optional 12.50mm rotors for high torque and ultra-high torque are also available for different track conditions and sizes. The V2m is available in 3.5T, 4.5T, 5.0T, 5.5T, 6.0T, 6.5T, 7.0T, 7.5T, 8.5T, 9.5T, and 10.5T variants.

Yokomo Max Power 6000mAh & 5300mAh LiPo batteries

Yokomo have introduced their new Max Power 6000mAh and 5300mAh LiPo battery packs. Starting with the 6000mAh variant, the battery is built from high-performance 100C-rated cells for maximum power output in modified and stock touring classes. In addition the low centre of gravity design ensures faster cornering compared to a standard height pack due to a lowered overall centre of gravity. The second new pack is an economically-priced 5300mAh battery of standard dimensions and built from high-quality 50C cells. The battery can be used in a variety of classes.

Team Silverback Siren-HV 5500mAh LiHV battery pack

Coming from Team Silverback is their all-new Siren-HV 5500mAh super low centre of gravity LiHV battery pack. Built from 130C graphene-technology cells for a very low internal resistance, high discharge rates, enhanced punch and maximum top speed the battery weighs in at only 235g while offering a standard 139x47mm footprint at a height of only 19.5mm. The pack, that as developed with the help of Germany’s Freddy Südhoff, is ideal for medium-size indoor tracks.

Yokomo RPX-II Drift Spec speed controller

Yokomo have introduced their new RPX-II Drift Spec speed controller that is specially outfitted for demanding drift car racing. Rated at 160A the ESC can even handle high-powered motors and it offers a 6V/7.4V BEC system with up to 6A, allowing to use power-hungry digital servos and gyros alongside without missing a beat. Premium-grade FETs ensure a super low internal resistance for crisp power supply and a specially-tuned firmware with a factory-tweaked basic setup provides a unique control advantage on low-grip surfaces. Using Yokomo’s BL-WM WiFi module or the RPX-II programming box, the speedo’s software features can be individually tuned to meed the driver’s needs. The controller measures 32.9×34.6×19.6mm and it weighs in at 44g.

SkyRC Toro TS150 Pro 1/8th speed controller

Coming soon from SkyRC is their new Toro TS150 Pro brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale vehicles. Designed for buggies, trucks and monster trucks but also usable for 1/8th on-road kits, the 150A-rated controller offers an aluminium heatsink case, a 6V high-power BEC system with up to 8A, as well as a multitude of software features that include adjustable timing as well as throttle and brake curve adjustment to name just a few. The controller is adjustable using SkyRC’s Progbox or WiFi module and it comes including a heavy duty fan unit that is meant to be a lot more durable compared to standard fans – even when running in demanding track conditions and on track with large jumps.

HRC Racing 4000mAh round hardcase LiPo pack

HRC Distribution have introduced the new HRC Racing 4000mAh round hardcase LiPo battery pack. Designed to fit any kit that requires NiCD or NiMH racing-pack-style batteries, such as many Tamiya and older Kyosho cars, buggies and trucks, the pack is also ideal to power nitro starter boxes. Housed in a hardcase for protection the oval diameter battery is built from quality 40C cells, making it ideal for stock and mild modified motors. The pack comes pre-wired with an industry-standard balancer port and either and T-type or Tamiya-style plug.

The high-performance packs are built using high-power 100C Graphene Plus technology cells for more power over the whole run and less fading towards the end, resulting in constant lap times.
