Max Power have released the new MX 02649 EFRA homologated pipe set for the 2009 season. Looking to the 2009 EFRA rules, were an INS box will be required for the 1/10th scale touring car races, Max Power have released this new pipe design. The long shape and slim volume make the engine rev free throughout all ranges, and while fast in the straights it retains super bottom end power, a popular characteristic for the touring class.

Werks Racing have announced the release of it’s new 3 chamber buggy pipe system. Completely legal under the new EFRA rules and carrying the EFRA 3014 homologation number, it has been designed from the ground up to provide a strong, linear power band with the best possible fuel millage. The new 3014 pipe is made to resist dents and dings and was manufactured with material over 50% thicker than what was found in their 2013 pipe. They have also incorporated a machined brace on the stinger to minimize the likelihood of damage in what is easily the most vulnerable part of the pipe. As seen for the first time here on Red RC, Novarossi have announced that they are released their Exhaust Gas Cooler. Mounted between the tuned pipe and the fuel tank, it will take away some heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fueltank, lowering the temprature of the fuel and increasing the runtime. Available in late August, the cooler will be sold in anodised purple.

New from DiMonaco, under the RC Fox label, is this EFRA legal #3021 muffler, updated to 2008 specifications from the previous #2064 pipe. This pipe claims to reduce fuel consumption and increase revs in the lower range, while its inline design improves the efficiency of the whole system. Made from a thick and strong material, the stinger has been reinforced to prevent damage in an impact.
