Nosram Racing Starter Box Evolution

Nosram have released the Racing Starter box Evolution, a specially developed robust and lightweight starter box. Tested and developed by their Worldwide factory team, the new upgraded starter box features a higher positioned starter wheel for faster and more comfortable engine starts. Suitable for starting competition engines from .12 – .32 (2.11 – 5.24ccm), it is driven by a powerful oversized big block 750 motor that is powered by two 7.2v stick packs or an external 12V power supply.

Craft-RC have released their Much More developed CRST starter box, a compact, high torque starter that can be used to start most types of engines. Made from stainless steel and durable nylon composite parts, this starter comes completely assembled and ready for use in both on or off road configurations. Its ergonomically designed over size handle provides painless fatique free transport every time. In addition the starting flywheel mechanism can be reconfigured so that it can start engines placed along the chassis or perpendicular to the chassis. The starting mechanism utilizes a large heavy duty 775 size motor with pulley/belt reduction system to produce the torque required for new 21 sized engines. Furthermore, the alignment posts are adjustable from the top with a single tool for easy set-up.

While you can easily change the box configuration yourself from off road to on road, for those who don’t want the hassle you can now choose to have it come already in on road edition.

In addition the starting flywheel mechanism can be reconfigured so that it can start engines placed along the chassis or perpendicular to the chassis. The starting mechanism utilizes a large heavy duty 775 size motor with pulley/belt reduction system to produce the torque required for new 21 sized engines. Furthermore, the alignment posts are adjustable from the top with a single tool for easy set-up. It requires two 7.2V battery packs or a 12V DC source for power and it includes all the necessary hardware.

Team Orion Starter boxes

We pictured them during our coverage of last week’s Nuremberg toy fair but Team Orion have now officially released information on the two new starter boxes that have been added to their nitro product range.  Complimenting their new Alpha range of engines, their is a choice of a Race Version or the larger Pro Version. Both are powered by a powerful 775 motor with the main differences apart from the visual look being that the Race model is make of rugged plastic while the casing on the Pro version is made of metal.  The other key difference is the Pro starter box can be powered off a 12V battery.  Both are available to suit both onroad and off road engine configurations.
