Tamiya TG10-Mk.2 FN 1/10th 4WD nitro chassis kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the TG10-Mk.2 FN 190mm 1/10th 4WD nitro chassis kit. The car builds on a 3mm aluminium chassis with composite upper deck and it was designed to utilise standard 190mm touring car bodyshells thanks to more narrow suspension components compared to the standard TG10. The car’s shaft-driven drivetrain is equipped with front and gear gear differentials and the kit makes use of front and rear CVA shock absorbers as well as a front double wishbone suspension. Included is also the 2.1cc FS-12FN glow engine with tapered sliding carburettor, die-cast cooling head and TM-4 exhaust.

T-Works Optima CV-style driveshafts

T-Works Optima CV-style driveshafts

T-Works have introduced new option parts for the Kyosho Optima re-release buggy in the form of rebuildable front and rear driveshafts. Making use of a common design the CV-style driveshafts can be taken apart, allowing to maintain and repair them while the construction also improves traction both at the front and the rear of the buggy.

Coming from Hudy and made for 1/10th scale differentials and slipper assemblies is the 8-compartment Diff Box. Measuring 195x130mm, with each compartment being 45x63x40mm in size, the box is made from tough translucent plastic and it is ideal to store and transport pre-assembled diffs and slippers to have them handy when needed.

Coming from Raceform and made for most 1/10th buggy tyres is a tyre gluing jig. The versatile design allows to glue rear tyres as well as 2WD and 4WD front tyres with ease with the upper pressure plate and a 3-latch design conveniently opens the tyre bead. After glue application, the spring-loaded latches release the pressure plate for easy peasy assembly of the tyre and wheel and evenly applied glue across the whole tyre bead.

Team Corally have introduced their all-new ETOR .21 3T nitro off-road engine. Best known for their successful electric racing history the Dutch company now also steps into the nitro game with the first engine being a 3.5cc off-road propulsion. The long-stroke engine is of a 3-port design, it features a 14mm crankshaft and a turbo-style combustion camber insert. A red anodised cooling head with laser-etched logos and the red anodised crankcase back plate make the engine stand out.

Sprint RC have introduced their all new DTRS-Evo2 bodyshell for 1/8th on-road cars. The special front end design with very pronounced front fenders as well as a new side dams profile makes for improved downforce which is further helped by an accordingly designed rear end. The body is available in standard 1.0mm and lightweight 0.75mm polycarbonate and SRC also offers a range of option parts to go along with it such as carbon side stiffeners, a shaped carbon fibre rear body mount support and a 1mm Lexan rear wing.

KO Propo have announced the soon release of the RSx One10 Type-S low-profile servo. The high-voltage compatible servo offers a speed of down to 0.08s, a torque of up to 8.2kg-cm and it sports a coreless motor, dual ball bearings, middle heatsink case and mixed metal and composite gears, while having a lower price tag compared to the remainder of the RSx One10 servo range. The servo is adjustable using KO Propo’s ICS Servo Manager and it is ideal for 1/10th touring and buggy applications.

Kyosho Optima aluminium front upper pivots

Kyosho have introduced a set of front upper pivots for the Optima re-release buggy. Made from high-quality aluminium and coming gun metal anodised and with laser-etched markings the parts are designed to replace the standard composite brackets, making for improved durability and cooler looks. The set includes a left and a right hand pivot.
