GForce hand warmer bag

GForce have introduced a hand warmer bag to keep your hands and fingers warm during driving in cold weather. The bag consists of a compartment for the transmitter as well as two sleeves all of which are made of thick neoprene material to keep chilling winds away from your hands. A clear plastic window allows to monitor the transmitter screen while two pockets in the sleeves take optional hand warmers to make for even more comfort. The splash-waterproof bag is good for both right and left hand users and it will become available by beginning of February.

CRC Auto-True 12 volt tyre truer

Calandra Racing Concepts’ 12 volt tyre truer has the power to cut 1/8th, 1/10th and 1/12th tyres with ease. It features automatic return – out and back – with both normal and reverse rotation. The machine also has camber cutting adjustments for putting a pre-cambered angle into the tyres and a micro-adjust feed dial allows for precise diameters. The unit comes with a standard high-speed steel cutting bit, however, CRC’s optional Final Cut truing bit helps to cut even through the toughest of foams. The tyre truer comes complete with pivoting dust shield and 12 volt cables but no adapter. Also available is the Ultimate Tire Truer package including that, on top of the tyre truer, includes the Final Cut truing bit, the True-All multi-adapter for 1/12th, 1/10th and touring car tyres as well as the Tire Sanding Paddle.

Japanese company Square have introduced the RC Monkey Flex short touring car springs. The short spec springs were developed in cooperation with Japanese RC news platform RC Monkey and they are available in hard, medium-hard, medium and medium-soft variants. Prototypes of the springs already prove their performance by taking the TQ and win at round 5 of the AOC, held at the Yatabe Arena in Japan.

Team Orion Advantage Touch Duo V-Max charger

Team Orion have bolstered-up their popular Advantage Touch Duo charger that will soon be available in the V-Max edition for the latest generation of LiHV cells. In terms of specs and features the Advantage Touch Duo V-Max is the same as the standard Touch Duo and so it features two independent 100W charge outputs for up to 6S LiPo packs and 10A of charge current but the additional LiHV charge mode allows to set the charge end voltage to 4.35V per cell which is required for the new high-voltage LiPo batteries. Other features include a 4 inch touch screen, internal balancers, multi language interface and a multitude of different programs including charge, discharge, cycle, storage and balance functions.

Hudy have introduced a wheel balancer adapter set for their own tyre truers. Precision machined and sporting a hard-anodised surface the adapter offers three different wheel mounting areas for 14mm hex rear wheels as well as 10mm and 8mm front wheels. The adapter comes including a lock nut for swift wheel changing and secure wheel mounting.

Xray have introduced the ECS dual joint driveshafts for the XB4 and XB2 line of buggies. The dual joint design is a common sight in touring car racing as it helps to reduce wheel chatter at high steering angles. The same system now also makes for a more silent and efficient drivetrain in Xray’s 1/10th buggies. Available are 81mm front driveshafts for the XB4 4WD buggy to decrease vibrations, improve stability and increase corner speed while the 68mm rear driveshafts for the XB4 and XB2 up the rear traction and help with landing after jumps. Overall the buggies will also be easier to drive.

Kyosho release new R4, TF7 & ZX6 options

Coming from Kyosho is a range of option parts for the R4 Evo 200mm nitro touring car, the TF7 electric tourer as well as the ZX6 4WD off-road buggy. Starting with the R4 Evo parts, new is a set of 8g brass weights. Individually shaped the parts directly mount to the chassis and they are designed to fine-tune the weight balance. Also new is an aluminium clutch bell machined from 7075 material. The part is of a vented design for reduced heat build-up and less fading even in long mains. Next up are carbon composite suspension arms for the TF7 touring car. Each set contains one front and one rear arm and they are available in medium and short variants. Last but not least is a 1-piece aluminium servo mount for the ZX6 buggy. Cut from high-quality aluminium and coming gun metal anodised the mount allows for improved and more even chassis flex while keeping the servo in place securely.
