Kyosho Inferno GT2 Type-R 1/8th GT chassis

Kyosho America have introduced the Inferno GT2 Type-R 1/8th scale nitro on-road chassis for the ever growing GT class. To realise improved circuit performance, the base GT2 is now equipped with almost 20 optional parts and packaged as a high-performance build kit. Starting with optimised chassis rigidity, high level grip is maintained around the rear, and combines with upgraded braking performance to ensure the weight of the chassis can be delivered to a controlled stop. Other features include the MP9 TKI3 style RC layout, aluminium oil shocks and shock stays, anti-roll bars, centre universal swing shafts as well as a 3D bumper for a maximised aerodynamic effect without panels flapping. The Type-R kit is rounded out by a set of 45 degree KC slick tyres on 5-spoke wheels.

CML Distribution have introduced the new Etronix PowerPal Touch Pro Duo and EZ-4 chargers. Starting with the Touch Pro Duo, the multi-chemistry device is providing two chargers directly from one AC/DC powered unit. Featuring the latest in touch screen technology for ease of use, a full scope of adjustable parameters are available via the touch screen using the supplied stylus for slick and quick operation. With input from either AC or DC voltage and a charge rate of up to 10A the PowerPal Touch is suitable for most needs and applications. Once the charger is set to the specific battery charging requirements via the simple main screen selection, the screen can display a range of data during charging from battery curve voltage to individual cell charge state.

Team Magic E4RS III+ electric touring car kit – Teaser

HRC Distribution have a first information about the forthcoming Team Magic E4RSIII+ electric touring car kit available. The follow-up model of the successful E4RS III will feature some subtle refinements such as a 2.5mm carbon fibre chassis for quicker steering response, reinforced C-hubs for increased durability and steering precision, revised steering knuckles for increased steering as well as reinforced rear drive shafts and upper bulkheads. The suspension arms now use aluminium pivot balls and new arm mount spacers make for easier fine-tuning of the roll centre settings. Also new is an updated one-piece FR arm mount for better steering control. The III+ will become available as a full kit and also as an upgrade package for current E4RSIII owners. Protoform F1-Fifteen formula bodyshell

Protoform have announced their F1-Fifteen bodyshell for 1/10th formula cars. The body is moulded after the 2015 Formula 1 cars and features a sleek, low nose design with side-pod undercuts and an injection moulded black nylon driver’s helmet for an ultra-realistic look. A new add-on airbox scoop and decal sheet, featuring seatbelts, steering wheel detail, car numbers and a variety of helmet visor colours, complete the scale details. The F1-Fifteen fits most modern formula chassis with trimming for front and rear suspension. This body is produced in genuine 0.7mm Lexan and includes decal sheet, driver helmet, hardware and paint-then-peel overspray film.

Yokomo YZ-4 1/10th 4WD buggy kit

During this week’s 2015 IFMAR Electric Offroad World Championships Yokomo’s all-new YZ-4 1/10th 4WD electric off-road buggy is making a first public appearance following its stealthy debut at the opening round of the 2015/16 EOS. Designed by Shin Adachi the car features a totally new drivetrain layout with dual 2WD-style 3-gear transmissions on ether end which are coupled by dual drivebelts to replace the shaft drivetrain of the proven yet slightly ageing B-Max4 car. The setup allows to use very small gear differentials without having to worry skipping belts while the overall design also results in an easier to drive and less edgy car.

Team Durango DETC410v2 touring car kit

Team Durango have introduced the DETC410v2 1/10th 4WD touring car kit. The refined version features some subtle changes that will improve precision, consistency and overall track performance with the car still being based on a carbon fibre double deck chassis with aluminium bulkheads but the suspension components are made of a stiffer composite material with increased carbon fibre content for reduced flex especially on high-grip surfaces and in high ambient temperatures. Beside the new material A-arms, hubs and steering knuckles the v2 will also include softer standard composite parts to allow a wide range of setup adjustments when conditions call for it. Other new composite parts include precision ball cups with removed unwanted play and also the suspension hanger inserts have received a make-over with the new parts offering even higher precision.

Intech ER-14 12 degree aluminium C-hubs

Coming from Intech and made for the ER-14 buggy are 12 degree aluminium C-hubs. The parts are machined from Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and they are made to increase durability and stability even in the most extreme racing conditions. The black anodised hubs come laser-etched for easy identification and they are direct replacements for the stock parts.

Avid B5-series titanium steering system screws

New from Avid and made for Team Associated’s 5th generation 1/10th off-road vehicles are the titanium steering system screws. The fasteners are shouldered to remove the slop out of the steering rack while also dropping 3g of weight. Also the kit screws measure in at 2.91mm where Avid’s titanium shouldered screws come in at 2.99mm for a much tighter bearing fit. The screws are machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium, each package includes two 3-12mm and two 3-22mm fasteners and they fit the B5, B5M, T5M, and SC5M.
