Serpent S411 Eryx extra hard suspension arms

Available now from Serpent and made for the S411 Eryx touring car kit are new extra hard suspension arms for the front and the rear of the car. Made from a special composite material the A-arms offer a much higher rigidity than the stock wishbones, allowing improved stability and performance on high-bite surfaces and in hot ambient temperatures. The arms are clearly marked, they come as pairs and fit all Erxy versions from 1 to 3.

Bittydesign M15 190mm touring car bodyshell

Following first teaser images Bittydesign now introduce the M15 190mm bodyshell for electric touring cars. Developed with the help of internationally experienced top drivers the body is meant to offer a very controllable steering response while retaining exceptional rear end grip and a neutral overall balance, making it easy for the driver to make a race distance both fast and hassle-free. The body, with its distinctive front and rear end design, is especially designed for carpet racing but also works well on low to medium grip asphalt tracks and it comes including a large decal sheet, window masks and a lightweight hardware set to mount the rear wing.

Serpent S411 & S748 orange aluminium screw sets

Serpent have more orange anodised aluminium screw sets available, following the release of a 40-piece set for the S977. Made from 7075-T6 aluminium and coming orange anodised the lightweight kits will also come for the S411 Eryx and S748 Natrix 1/10th cars and they are meant to be used in lower-stress areas. For the S748 Serpent also offers a full aluminium set in grey colour, containing a total of 133 fasteners.

Framega BD7-2015 chassis protection stickers

Framega have released new chassis protection decals for Yokomo’s BD7-2015 touring car. Available in yellow or white colour the decals come as sets of one, two or three sheets and they help to protect the bottom of the chassis from becoming excessively scratched and damaged on abrasive surfaces.

Serpent introduce an orange anodised aluminium screw set for the Viper 977 1/8th on-road kit. Targeting areas of less stress such as the top deck and rear bulkhead the screws reduce the overall weight of the car while adding some visual impact. Included in the 40-piece set are various flathead, button head and cap head screws.

GForce Mini Break-in system

GForce introduce the Mini Break-in system for mini and micro-size brushed motors. Designed for the use with Tamiya’s Mini 4WD series of “slot cars”, the system is also usable for the brushed motors found in Kyosho’s Mini-Z or HPI’s Micro RS4 line of vehicles. The motor run-in system is housed in a sturdy case with a jog dial to adjust the output voltage and also a timer that stops the run-in process after a certain time. A non-slip foam pad and a velcro strap prevent the chassis or motor from moving around and the break-in device is powered by four AA-size batteries or an optional power supply.

TLR 22-4 LRC 2.0 degree & 2.5 degree rear blocks

Available now from TLR and made for the 22-4 4WD buggy are two new rear pivot blocks. Coming in low roll centre specification and with 2.5 and 2.0 degree toe-in setting the blocks are made to free-up the rear end of the buggy compared to the standard 3.0 degree part. CNC-machined from aluminium and coming gun metal anodised the 2.5 degree part is best used on medium bite surfaces while the 2.0 degree part helps to make the buggy rotate better in and out of turns on very high-bite tracks.
