Serpent Spyder 2WD RTR short course truck

Following the full-blown race version Serpent now introduce a ready-to-run package based off of the competition variant. Using the same suspension geometry and composite tub chassis as the top-of-the-foodchain kit, the RTR comes with slightly simplified shock absorber units with plastic top caps, a gear differential unit and a solid slipper clutch with the kit being easily upgraded to a ball diff and slipper if conditions call for it. Also part of the RTR version is a 9T sensorless brushless motor with 45A speed controller, a 2.4GHz 10-model memory transmitter, pre-glued high-grip tyres and a pre-decorated bodyshell.

VBC Racing Wildfire D07 touring car kit

VBC Racing Australia have first images of the forthcoming Wildfire D07 electric touring car kit available. The latest incarnation of the company’s touring car platform will be based on a 2.5mm carbon fibre main chassis with 2mm upperdeck and an innovative “floating” steering design that decouples the steering bellcrank posts from the chassis to allow for improved front flex characteristics. A sturdy aluminium centre pod still makes for accurate steering response while different flex settings help to fine-tune the setup. Also new to the D07 is an improved motor mount for optimised left-to-right flex characteristics of the rear part of the chassis while the new Zero Tolerance Pulley system makes for an ultra smooth drivetrain operation. Other new features include an updated anti-roll bar mount on the A-arms, a new suspension geometry using carbon composite parts, all-new 3.5mm carbon shock towers, new centre arm mounts with adjustable flex settings and more.

Team Muso LM-P Type2 200mm bodyshell

Following first teaser images Team Muso now officially announce the release of the LM-P Typ2 200mm on-road bodyshell. The multi-piece body is made from clear polycarbonate and it comes with separate rear wing, shark fin and roll cage details to create several aerodynamic configurations. The body is designed for the use with 200mm World GT chassis and also fits Tamiya F103 GT cars.

Updated rear suspension arms for Mugen's MRX5 WC

Mugen introduce updated rear suspension arms for the MRX5 WC 1/8th on-road car. Added material for increased strength against bending and twisting under hard acceleration and corning improves traction while opening the throttle and also adds stability at corner entry. Included with the A-arms are also upper suspension arm parts.

Industry standard 4mm tube-type connectors make using the battery in a wide range of applications possible and included are a charging lead with T-type connector as well as a pre-soldered jumper wire.

T.O.P. Sabre S4 improved gear diff housing set

New from T.O.P. Racing and made for the Sabre S4 touring car is an improved gear differential housing set. Design changes and new O-rings for the outdrives and pulley minimise oil-leakage and increase the efficiency of the diff.

Exotek RB6 MM wing mounts & shock cartridges

Exotek have new option parts for Kyosho’s RB6 buggy available in the form of aluminium wing mounts for mid motor converted buggies as well as delrin big bore cartridge housings. Starting with the wing mounts, the parts made from 7075 aluminium are of a heavy duty design for extra durability while being light of weight at the same time. Threaded holes allow to mount the wing using low profile M3 screws, doing away with the need to use body clips. The mounts come red anodised to match with the remainder of Exotek’s Kyosho option parts.

JConcepts B5 Finnisher bodyshell

Tailor-made to fit Team Associated’s rear motor B5 buggy is the new Finnisher bodyshell from JConcepts. Sporting the proven Finnisher design touches such as a forward-biased cabin with a highly angles windscreen, a stepped rear section and several airflow-improving features, the body instantly gives the B5 a different look. Included are two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings, window masks and a decal sheet.
