CN Development & Media now have this LiPo safety charging bag from Yuki Model available. It is fabricated from fire-resistant fabric and ideal to store, transport and charge LiPo battery packs in. The bag comes in white colour and with Yuki Model’s logo printed on the lid.

Yaiba Racing now offers special option parts packages for the Team Associated B4 and Kyosho RB6 buggy. Starting with the B4 Base Set, included are several red anodised and laser-etched aluminium parts such as big bore shock mounts, front kingpin brace, front bulkhead, steering bellcranks, battery trap thumb screws, rear chassis brace and a motor plate. The RB6 Complete set is available for mid and rear motor cars and includes steering bellcranks, a steering rack, the graphite battery plate set with alloy posts and thumb screws, RF and RR wide suspension mounts, the specific rear bulkheads and a motor plate. KM Racing introduce three new front anti-roll bar wires for the KM H-K1 Meen Version kit. The wires are available as 2.1mm, 2.2mm and 2.4mm variant and designed to fit with the recently announced front-anti roll bar kit. The different thickness anti-roll bars allow to adjust the roll characteristic of the car’s front end and come laser-etched for easy identification.

Avid introduce these titanium lower shock screws for 1/8th off-road vehicles like the ones from Mugen, Xray, Agama, or Tekno. The screw set offers two left and two right hand threaded screws with a 5.5mm socket head which makes taking the shocks off a breeze. A centre-drilled hole for easy docking of callipers while measuring shock lengths is also incorporated. The special design of the screws makes sure the fasteners do not come loose in long mains as they are constantly fastened by the up and down travel of the arm and the shock’s ball cup.

New from Xray come two shock tower reinforcement parts for the XB4 buggy. First up is the rear shock tower protector that is designed to save the upper part of the shock stay from becoming damaged in upside down landings. The part not only protects the carbon layers from de-laminating but also minimises the chances of cracking the shock mounting holes. The second new part is the roll centre brace that protects the inner camber rod mounting positions during hard impacts. Both parts are available separately and are made from high quality hardened steel.

Last week we reported about exciting future Tamiya kit released but lacked proper photographs and now Tamiya Japan have released first images of some of the upcoming kits. First up is the Zakspeed Ford Capri Turbo Würth, a replica of the 1980’s Group 5 monster that dominated the German Sportscar Championship, the series that later became the famous DTM. The car builds on the entry-level TT-02 4WD shaft-driven tub chassis and not only features a nicely made Ford Capri Turbo body but also wide off-set multi-spoke rims to up the track width. Included with the kit comes a complete Würth design sticker sheet to mimic the car that ran the 1981 campaign.

Yeah Racing introduce new aluminium option parts and a titan screw kit for Tamiya’s TT-02 entry/hobby level touring car. Starting with the aluminium options, first up is the lower front arm set that is designed to replace the kit’s plastic arms. Included are CNC-machined aluminium arms with installed pivot balls and mounting hardware. The stiffer arms minimise flexing and make for a more precise and more predictable turning of the car while adding rigidity in this highly stressed area.

Available soon from Team Saxo is the F1-200 ‘wide’ pan car chassis kit. Building on a carbon fibre chassis with link-type rear suspension the kit includes a 200mm wide front suspension for foam tyre racing with lower carbon and upper composite A-arms, sliding aluminium servo mount, upper carbon fibre battery plate, large volume central shock, single tube roll damper and aluminium motor mount. The chassis plate sports milled-out sections to route the servo and ESC receiver wires in and the car is usable with standard and shorty-size LiPo battery packs with the latter allowing the speed controller to be mounted in-line with the battery pack.
