Tamiya FF-03 Evo FWD chassis – teaser

Coming soon from Tamiya, and currently only available as slightly blurry preview image, is the FF-03 Evo 1/10th electric front wheel drive chassis. The latest generation FWD offers a newly-designed 2.5mm carbon chassis with 2mm upper deck and 3mm rear damper stay. The front of the chassis sees the addition of laydown shock absorbers with the rear ones are mounted in a conventional way. Included in the kit will be also fully alloy TF shocks, a front gear differential, and dual joint universal drive shafts. The kit will kit Japanese stores at the end of August.

CSO One 5.5mm wheel hex adapters

CSO introduce these aluminium wheel adapters for their One 1/10th electric touring car kit. The parts are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and come dark anodised to match the remainder of the cars’s parts. They are of a 5.5mm off-set design and incorporate a grub screw hole to secure them to the wheel shaft for a tight fit even with the wheels removed.

Kyosho Kanai tool tray

Kyosho Germany introduce the tool tray, a handy storage compartment to keep your workspace tidy. The Yuichi Kanai designed tray helps to organise tools, wrenches, gauges, and even small parts while build or maintenance work. Made from tough plastic the organiser will take up to two sets of pliers, five wrenches, a calliper and many more.

VBC Racing Wildfire D06 – first images

Following a teaser last week VBC Racing now released first pre-production images of their forthcoming Wildfire D06 electric touring car. The kit heavily differs from the current Wildfire and will feature some important “2013” gizmos such as a new slimmer lower chassis plate, new low-profile shocks and shock towers, redesigned anti-roll bars and bulkheads along updated suspension components. According to VBC there are still some parts that need finishing touches such as the floating servo mount and some other areas. It is understood that the kit will be ready to hit the stores in August.

Much More LiPo battery for the CTXW tyre warmer

Designed for the CTXW tyre warmer is this 3S 4600mAh LiPo battery pack from Much More Racing. The internal power source allows the use of the tyre warmer unit without mains power making it possible to heat the tyres while waiting in the pits or the starting grid. The softcase pack comes build from 40C cells and is pre-wired with a Tamiya-style plug.

LRP S8 Rebel BX RTR Limited Edition

LRP introduce the S8 Rebel BX RTR Limited Edition 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Coming factory-assembled and including a 2.4GHz radio system the new variant sports a couple of option parts such as full aluminium big bore shock absorbers and a widely adjustable suspension with R/L turnbuckles for quick and easy setup changes. Also included in the kit are CV-type front drive shafts for increased transmission efficiency and a polished LRP aluminium exhaust pipe for increased power output.

Tamiya aluminium servo horns

These Tamiya aluminium servo horns are ideal to replace the kit’s standard plastic items with better looking and more durable ones. Available as Sanwa/KO and Tamiya/Futaba compatible variant the parts are CNC-machined and come blue anodised to match with the remainder of the company’s options. The levers are of a clamp-type design for added security and offer a pre-treaded hole for the steering linkage ball stud.

KM H-K1 Meen Version front anti-roll bar

KM Racing introduce this ball-raced front wire anti-roll bar for the H-K1 Meen Version 200mm nitro on-road car. Included in the set, that must be used with the MV aluminium front bulkhead, are a 2.3mm anti-roll bar wire, ball bearings, aluminium collars and pivot balls as well as all needed linkages and mounting hardware.
