Hiro Seiko have released a new range precision 4mm wheel nuts. Flanged and serrated for locking security they feature a lightweight design which sees them weigh in a 0.42 grams each. Each nut is 100% CNC machined and the serrated faces bite into the wheel ensuring it will not loosen easily. Available in a multitude of anodised colours.

Viper RC have announced a new firmware release for the Viper VTX10 and VTX 10R speed controllers. The latest new firmware A30 will have some new performance benchmark for drivers who demand the maximum performance on the tracks. The updates on the version A30 from current factory firmware A19 are a new radio calibration process, smart brake system, additional brake PWM frequency options and optimized boost performance.
Sonic Nitro Engines have released details on their V.12T 2.1cc touring car engine. All components have been made from the finest materials to ensure high durability and reliability. Equipped with a 3 ports sleeve with ‘teardrop’ work and a CNC machined flat piston, the engine provides great power over the entire RPM range while having a very efficient fuel consumption. The 12mm turbo crankshaft is filled with a silicone insert to reduce the inertia and improve the fuel flow while the special back plate, the optimized crankcase and the the ‘knife edged’ aerodynamic connecting rod help even more to reduce turbulence inside the engine. A special turbo combustion chamber with a cooling fin and the super lightweight cooling head ensure best heat dispersion to keep the engine temperature at a moderate level. High quality Swiss ball bearings, a modern composite valve carburetor and a 5,4mm aluminium venturi complete this new high competition engine. All Sonic engines will be available from next week on.

Max Power have released their new .12 competition engine called the RP3.5 Racing Edition. This new engine has a different stroke, a 3 port sleeve, machined piston, hand tuned lightened crankshaft, sealed combustion chamber and new for 2012 cooling head. Available from December onwards.

More news from Capricorn with the announcement that their Lab C02 1/10th scale 200mm chassis kit is now available. We have written about the car in the past, but up until now it was only available as an upgrade kit for the C01 car. Team C Racing have introduced their new line of buggy tires for 1/10th off road. For 2wd and 4wd there are two new rear tires, the TG411 SS and TG412 Code, both coming pre glued in soft compound to a yellow spoked rim, with racing insert. The SS is also available for the front of your 4wd, also pre glued with yellow insert, while for the front of your 2wd there is the Rail, a ribbed design, pre glued to a yellow disk wheel. Both front tires also come in soft compound.
