Power Save Racing Revolution oils

GB Modelsport has announced the introduction of the full range of Revolution oils from Power Save Racing. Each type has been specially developed to suit specific applications and bearing types and are supplied in a generous and long lasting 25ml bottle. Revolution Yellow is designed to suit high speed ball races such as wheel and differential bearings. Reducing frictional losses this oil will prolong bearing life, whilst improving performance and help deliver longer run times in nitro and electric powered models. Revolution Blue is ideal for lubricating hard working thrust race bearings, improving durability whilst reducing maintenance. And finally Revolution Red is designed for very high temperature applications and is particularly recommended for use with clutch bearings.

Yokomo have released details of their new B-Max4 II 1:10 4wd off road buggy kit. Available in 2 versions the standard kit only comes with the new cab forward body shell for more steering while the Factory 2011 version additionally comes supplied with a whole host of option parts as standard. It comes with a LiPo compatible main chassis, motor mount with bigger range of adjustment, c-clip universal drive shafts, carbide diff balls, lightweight diff joints and hex head screws throughout. Both are available at the end of this month.

Capricorn anti-vibration engine mount

Capricorn have introduced their new anti-vibration engine mount. Many hours of work and testing have led Capricorn to develop this new anti vibration system, specifically made for the brand new Lab C801. This patented system has been designed to work with any brand of engine available on the market and each engine will need a specific engine mount with a dedicated mass damper. The purpose of this device is to dampen the alternate movement of the piston with a specific counter balance weight. The calibrated weight, that is located in a cavity between two dampening materials, reduce the vibration made by the engine which is normally transferred to the engine mount and then to the chassis. No word on a release date.

Robitronic silicone shock & diff oils

Robitronic have released their range of silicone shock and diff oils. Made using 100 percent pure and temperature resistant silicone oil, it comes in 50ml bottles and are available in a wide variety of thicknesses in 50cps increments. To facilitate ease of handling, the bottles are color-coded with green for diff oil and black for damper oil, so you always know which oil bottle to grab from you pit box.

One of the unusual features of THE Car by JQ Products is its centre differential, which has 8mm of front/rear adjustment in the chassis which can have a significant effect on handling. The standard kit comes with central to weight forward transmission components, ideal for tight, technical stop/start type tracks. If the full extent of its weight-back set up is required, usually for fast open tracks, then the optional weight back centre shafts must be used. The set includes the 90mm and 104mm option weight back dogbone centre shafts.

O.S. Speed 19XZ-B buggy engine

O.S. Speed have released their latest 1/8th buggy engine, the small block 19XZ-B. A 3.1cc engine, it produces similar power to the 3.5cc version, delivers the power smoothly but most importantly gives much better fuel consumption than the larger displacement engine.
