S-Power, the new series of engines from S-Workz have announced two new 3 port engines, the S3 and S7, which claim to give great power delivery and lower fuel consumption than those currently on the market. The top of the line S3 features a DLC coated balanced crankshaft, comes with high quality ceramics ball bearings and features an easy to tune 3 needle carburetor.

Team C have introduced a range of aluminium servo horns. Available in 23T and 25T for Sanwa/KO and Futaba respectively these horns come in one or two hole versions and are much stronger than the standard plastic versions that come with the servo. Ideal for the steering on gas offroad cars.

DuraTrax Performance Racing Tires have introduce a brand new, C3 ‘Super Soft’ compound tire developed for exceptional gripping power. Drivers can find the C3 compound in four tread styles, Lineup, Posse, Shotgun and X-Con and can choose mounted and unmounted tire options. Phat Bodies have released the latest addition to their line of bodyshells, called the ‘Manx’. Suitable for the Schumacher Cougar SV, it has been made from high quality 0.75mm thick polycarbonate and features a number of winglets on the top and side of the cockpit for added downforce.

GB Modelsport has introduced its own range of high grade, lightweight stainless steel screws and screw sets. Starting with the 213 piece screw set for THE Car by JQ Products, the range also includes over 30 different metric pan head, button head and countersunk screws, lock nuts and set screws, each packed in quantities of 10 in handy re-sealable bags. All of these products are manufactured from a high grade, strong but lightweight stainless steel with precision socket heads for long life, with screw threads that offer improved ‘grab’ and feel compared to most stock black oxide steel screws, and they are of course highly resistant to corrosion.

Now commercially available and ready for the first National of the season are the latest performance engineered tyres from dBoots, the MultiByte ‘A’ compound for 1/8 off road, their first for this class. Developed in the UK for Astroturf tracks, the innovative duel level Multibyte tread which is proving popular in 10th scale, has an operational window somewhere between angle-spikes and minipins. The MultiByte in their ‘A’ compound could give you the speed and endurance edge you require. There are side ribs to limit the side bite and the spikes designed with a step so they can be trimmed to a shorter stump to tune the grip levels.

FTW Racing Components today announced its official company debut. Created to equip radio control car enthusiasts and serious racers with components exhibiting form and function that defies convention, FTW RC will produce bodies, wings, and associated parts for 1:10 and 1:8 scale radio control cars. Along with the company debut, FTW RC announced its initial lineup of 1:10 scale off-road buggy bodies, including versions for the popular Team Associated B4.1, Schumacher Cougar SV and Kyosho Ultima RB5 platforms. FTW RC will continue to expand beyond the initial product offering to include bodies for most 1:10 and 1:8 scale platforms. According to co-founder Joshua Riewe, “Prototype FTW bodies for several popular 1:8 scale buggy platforms are currently undergoing testing at national level races. The lessons we learn from in-race testing will be incorporated into the final products that will soon be available to the public.”
