Novak have shown off two exciting motors soon to join Novak’s popular line of Ballistic motors, the Ballistic 8 and Ballistic 8L Racing Sensored brushless motors. Similar to Novak’s best-selling Ballistic 540 and Ballistic 550 brushless motors, the new Ballistic 8’s will feature high performance, unmatched reliability and a cost-saving, rebuildable design. Components such as the rotor, sensor harness, bearings, and timing assembly can be replaced. The wound stator can even be interchanged to experiment with a different Kv wind. Max Power have released their new .21 XL9 TQR on road engine. On the outside the only visible change is the new style cooling head, which is 10% lighter than the previous version, but inside there has been lots of work done. The engine features a new crankcase internal structure which improves strength between the two main bearings, preventing flex and improving stability at high temperatures. The strength and alignment of the piston has also been improved due to the new wrist pin height, while the new super balanced high durable steel 14mm crankshaft features adjusted timing due to the improved piston and sleeve set. This is the engine that will be used at the 1/8th scale World Championships in April by the likes of Cristiani, Burch, Lemieux, Tanaka to name but a few.
Following the announcement of their 2011 line of .21 engines, RB Products have sent us details on their new .12 and 4.6cc Monster truck motors. The 2011 line of 2.11cc engines includes 5 new updates beginning with their top of the line T11RS touring engine, as well as the T11RC with slightly smaller diameter crankshaft. The standard T11 and entry level TJ11 has also been updated with the latter coming in rotostart or pullstart versions. Finally their MT11 Monster Truck engine has also received an update.

Keep your battery pack warm under cold ambient temperatures with this battery warming tray from Much More. The Warming Tray is a warmer that can heat up your battery packs (LiPo or NiMh) before charging in the winter season. Cold batteries may lose punch, which means lower average voltage than usual, if you charge without any warming.
