Castle Creations Mamba XL ESC & Baja conversion

It’s time for 1/5th scale buggies, trucks and on road cars to experience the incredible torque and speed of Castle electric drive. The new Mamba XL is the only controller on the market able to handle the loads required to power these surprisingly heavy vehicles to insane speeds. We can prove it too, as the Mamba XL features all of the standard Mamba series programming features plus a first for the RC car market, data logging. Use the data from the controller to measure parameters such as your battery volts, battery ripple voltage, amp draw, motor rpm, and controller temperature. This is a great way to make sure that the rest of your setup is performing within its limits. Castle Creations have also produced a complete conversion kit that allows you too easily convert your HPI Baja chassis from gas powered to Mamba XL powered.

Sweep Racing Closed Cell 1:8 truggy inserts

Sweep Racing have released their new Closed Cell 1:8 truggy inserts. Based on the original industry standard closed cell foam insert, the new grooved insert is designed to take advantage of the radial ribs inside the carcass of the Exagon tires to ensure no air gaps and perfect balance. The inserts are now available with their line of truggy tires as well as in their line of pre glued truggy tires/wheels.

Exotek Racing F1 truing arbor set

Exotek Racing have produced this F1 truing arbor set for Tamiya F103 and F104 wheels. Polished and anodized, it has been precision machined from 6160 billet with an alloy steel steel main shaft. Knurled grips and a secure clamp locking system ensure the wheel, either front or rear, stays in place. Designed to work with any foam tire truer that has an 8mm shaft such as those made by Hudy, Ofna, Corally or Integy.

Xceed 1/10 scale F103 foam tires

Xceed have released a complete range of 1/10 scale F103 foam tires. Available in both carpet and tarmac versions, the former uses a special type of foam which offers superb traction combined with most commonly used tyres traction fluids, while the latter feature an outside ring made of normal foam such as that used for 1/8 or 1/10, while the inside ring is the same rubber as they use for 1/12. Both types are available in soft, medium and hard and fit all popular brands of 1/10 F1 electric cars.

Vega Elite 2WD race conversions

Just released, the new series of Vega Elite 2WD race conversions for most major top-end race buggies, including the pictured Kyosho Ultima RB5 SP2. Featuring a CNC machined aerospace 7075 alloy tub chassis & gearbox, motor plate heat sink, rear shock tower, bodyshell and more, this new conversion changes the weight distribution of the car, allowing it to jump more level & massively helps in-air control and powered landings. Testing has shown the conversion gives a new more positive feel to the car, allowing for a more aggressive driving style. Flatter jumps, quicker landings and better cornering is bringing noticeably faster and consistent lap times.

Xceed T-GT1 1/8th scale body shell

Xceed have introduced their new 1/8th scale body shell, called the T-GT1. Developed in Japan according to the new IFMAR regulations for this class, it features neutral handling with lots of downforce and great stability thanks to the side dams. EFRA homologated (#31523), it is available in normal and light versions.
