Motonica P81 RS 1/8th scale chassis

Italian company Motonica have announced the P81 RS 1/8th scale competition chassis. Developed by the Motonica R&D Team with the supervision of Stefano Solaroli and Stefano Puccinelli and suggestions by the best professional drivers, the improvements of P81 RS touch a wide range of items. From the shock absorbers to the new swing shafts, made out of special steels which were also used for the transmission shafts, to the PHS system with more effective adjustments points.

RB 204mm compact manifold

As mentioned in our World Championship coverage, RB have designed and developed a special compact 204mm manifold for increased bottom end power. Designed for ‘American style’ tracks with big jumps, this manifold claims to be a big advantage in term of power. Also available in 192mm and 198mm versions, it is polished both inside and out and supplied with exhaust gasket and springs.

DnM Tech MRX-5 pinions

DnM Tech have released this set of pinion gears for the Mugen MRX-5. Machined from high quality 7075 T6 aluminium and hard coated for the long life, they are available in 16T and 17T first gears and 20T and 21T second gears.

Team Powers Plutonium motor

Team Powers have announced the upcoming release of their Plutonium motor. This new design features a lightweight motor can and machined endbell and back plate for extra cooling, while the cans have also been left open for easy soldering. Full information on the different versions is expected soon.

Team Titan Blitz Cruzer & ISF2.1 bodies

Following on from the releases by Team Titan two days ago, they have today released two new 200mm Blitz bodies. Starting with the Cruzer it was designed for maximum grip while also giving very quick steering, great for small tight tracks. Next up is the 2.1 version of the ISF shell, this new type is 10mm shorter and has reduced front end down force to give it less initial steering together with smooth handling, great for large open tracks with big sweeping corners. Both bodies are available in standard 0.8mm and lightweight 0.7mm versions.

The new Racers Edge SC RaceCase II Limited AE Edition with blue trim is a great way to transport your SC10 to the track. It’s also a great way to carry all your Team Associated cars and trucks, as more than just a 1/10th short course will fit. With the optional mid-deck installed, the RaceCase can carry two on road sedans up to 200mm. Once the mid-deck is removed the RaceCase can transport an 1/8th scale buggy with the tires and wing on, comp and scale crawlers, 1/10th scale off road trucks and buggies, and of course 1/8th and 1/10th Short Course trucks. An integrated radio compartment offers easy transmitter storage, or extra room for tires and parts. There are also two external pockets with tough zippers for extra storage.
