Team Tekin have announced the release of their Vegas 208 software that contains several major advances towards Tekin’s never-ending pursuit of perfection. As well as increases in performance and lower temperatures, V208 includes a ‘spec’ mode required at some races and some new features to make it all easier to use.

New from Kyosho, the Inferno MP9 TKI 2 race kit has been tested and proven at numerous international racing events, and some design upgrades have evolved multiple areas of the chassis platform to a new level. However perhaps the greatest innovation has been the dramatic reduction in cost, despite the significant upgrades and performance improvements. The chassis design focus is on efficient traction and is realized through short suspension arms and unique rear hubs that produce effective traction with light suspension stroke. Shock absorber design has changed from spacer setting adjustment to dial adjustment and incorporates the previously optional shock pistons with tapered holes that produce optimal piston speed and damping power over long running times. Other features include a new low-height body design with less front-end resistance that generates aerodynamics for a competitive edge and stable posture through the air.

Racing Experience have introduced a new range of tools and trolley bag. Made from high speed steel, the Racing Experience tips are super strong and so don’t need any extra coating. Ground and anodized to ensure precision and reduce slipping, the purple anodised handles have a rounded end that doesn’t hurt the palm of the hand. The new trolley bag comes with a set of composite drawers, a large side door, a pair of strong wheels and a retractable handle. Racers can carry a 1/8th buggy even with wheels and wing. Serpent have released their 1/10 scale pancar, the S100 Link, which is the 1/10 World GT version of their S120 1/12 scale pan-car. This high performance 1/10 scale pan chassis features quality machined carbon fibre and aluminium parts throughout, with its fully adjustable front end creating lots of steering. A spring loaded link system, in combination with diagonal positioned main shock and lateral damper with through shaft, control the roll of the car. The well balanced chassis offers a wide selection of set-up features and options to dial the car in for any track. Available in the beginning of August.

The new AA/AAA Speed charger is the latest addition to the charger line up offered by Venom. This micro processor controlled charger automatically peak charges each cell individually. It will charge both NiCd and NiMh cells and features a temperature sensor in case of an overheating cell, a maximum charge timer and short circuit protection.
