Xray XB808 composite 8 & 10-hole shock pistons

Xray have released a set of composite molded 8 and 10-hole shock pistons for two shock absorbers. 8-hole pistons are available with 2 different-sized holes (1.2 and 1.3mm) for changing damping (2 per piston). 10-hole pistons are available with 1.1mm holes and these pistons are conical for smoother damping. Big-bore pistons are manufactured from well-proven specially-formulated composite material to provide smoother action and durability. The well-proven molding production process is used to ensure perfect roundness of the pistons after production, so that the pistons will move perfectly inside the shock bodies for identical shock action in all four shocks.

Xenon Racing VSS power supply & spur gears

On display for the first time at the fifth round of the Xenon Racing backed Euro Touring Series is the new Xenon VSS power supply. This AC box features two 20A power supplies in one casing, each of the units outputting 12.5V, with 3 output connections per power supply on the front and rear. Also sporting an extra AC plug on the rear for connecting a soldering iron or light, with a max of 150W, it is supplied in a box which fits perfectly in the popular Team Atlas bag. Also on display by the Japanese company is their all new VSS spur gear. Made from a nylon mixture, it is lighter than their previous versions yet stiffer to prevent tweak. These silent running spurs are available in 64P 88T & 98-116T and fit most modern touring cars with the exception of the Schumacher chassis.

Capricorn LAB-C01 steel pivot balls

New from Capricorn for the LAB-C01 are these steel pivot balls. Also suitable for the NT1, these balls have a smaller pivot body that allows the steering angle to be increased on the car by 5 degrees for better cornering. Weighing in a 3.4 grams each, they are available immediately.

Tamiya Wolf WR1 F1 chassis

New from Tamiya and based on the F104 chassis is this 1/10th scale Wolf WR1 classic formula one chassis. Led by wealthy Canadian businessman owner Walter Wolf, the WR1 made its debut at the 1977 Argentine GP and started the race in 11th position. Driven by team driver Jody Scheckter, the WR1 went on to win the race and record the first ever win for the team. The 1977 season saw Jody Scheckter win three championship races and finish 2nd overall in the drivers championship.

Motonica P81 series 2-speed gearbox

New for the P81 series from Motonica is this two speed gearbox. The main feature of this new gearbox is its total weight, which is 14 grams lighter than the previous version resulting in a tangible benefit during acceleration. An added benefit is that the shift from first to second gear is more accurate and constant, allowing for a smoother drive. Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 FS2 buggy

With its heritage built at the top of the racing world, the Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 chassis has undergone a complete regeneration. This model is based on the FS conversion kit and not the SP competition kit held in high regard by many competition drivers. The new layout features a 10mm longer wheelbase and the motor and spur gear are positioned as far forward as possible. This combines with the 3 by 3 battery layout to produce optimal weight distribution and results in ideal surface pressure from the tires for effective traction and sure-footed turning. The new Lazer ZX5 FS2 is the latest in the Lazer line of vehicles, which is a further development on this platform and should be available in June.
