X-Factory X-6 Squared Plastic Flex chassis

X-Factory have announced the release of this new ‘plastic’ chassis for the National Champion X-6 Squared buggy. The first ones were ready just two weeks ago and were rushed to the Team for testing and Tom Cockerill used one to take a convincing win at the Blythe UK National. The new chassis is made of the same material as the original ‘graphite’ version, except that the carton fibres are replaced by fiberglass giving it a bit more flex. X-6 Squared kits will continue to be supplied with a graphite chassis, and the plastic ones will be available as an option.

RB Shark 9 LE engine

To celebrate Renaud Savoya’s European title, RB have release this limited edition Shark 9 engine. This high performance engine has 3 ports with the multi exhaust system delivering an excellent power/fuel consumption rate. Featuring a 14mm long stroke balanced crankshaft with coated pin it is supplied with a turbo glow plug and combustion chamber as well as a 9mm carburetor provided with 6mm, 7mm and 8mm restrictors. This engine will also be delivered with complete in-line kit RB 2045P and compact manifold and as an extra gift comes with the RB Gas cooler. This special edition is limited to 400 units for the worldwide market and will be numbered and signed by Renaud himself.

Pirani Motor Sport MRX-4 options

F.V.S.S. Racing Team have released this Pirani Motor Sport kit for the Mugen MRX-4. Developed and tested by Andrea Pirani it is composed of superior front upper support brackets and rear wishbone support brackets. This kit claims to provide better steering and greater traction and is available in front or rear parts and for the best performance, as a complete set.

VP Pro have released two new air filter foams for the Xray XB808 in both 2008 and 2009 versions. Made from high quality dense foam and shaped for ultimate high flow, they come with one outer and one inner foam element. Micro density foam helps achieve high performance while providing maximum air filtration for extended engine life even in dirty and dusty conditions. Sold in packs of 10 for the 2008 version and 15 for the 2009 version.

Intellect 5000 & 5400mAh LiPo packs

Team Epic are promoting this two new LiPo battery packs from Intellect. The first is a hard case 1 cell pack for serious 1/12th scale on-road, 1/12th and 1/10th scale oval racing and World GT and is 3.7 volts, 5000mAh, 40C and comes pre-wired with a Deans plug. The second pack from Intellect is perfect for 1/8th scale off-road buggy and is 14.8 volts, 5400mAh and 35C rated. Both packs are approved and legal for ROAR racing.

KM Racing Shock Pliers & Clutch nut tool

More new items from KM Racing who have released some handy new tools. First up are these shock shaft pliers, which help grab the shaft safely and securely without scratching the surface, allowing you to easily mount the plastic ball end. Suitable for various diameter shafts. The 2nd item is a simple to use clutch spring adjustment tool. Red anodised aluminium, it features a knurled oversized head for easy adjustment of the tightest nuts, with 2 pins used to grab the slots on the nut.
