Fastrax LiPo Charge bag

Fastrax have released their own LiPo charge bag. Manufactured from ‘greener’ state-of-the-art Dupont Nomex & Kevlar, this flexible fire-resistant material is more pliable than many on the market making it more suitable to a variety of battery sizes. Supplied in black, with blue trimming, the bag will protect yourself and your equipment from a potential LiPo battery fire and is a required piece of equipment for many governing bodies.

Xray Active Center Differential bevel gears

New for their active center differential, Xray have released large bevel gears in 43T, 42T & 41T which have been machined from special Hudy steel material that has been specially developed for gear-type products. They have been additionally hardened and precision ground to fit the tightest tolerance requirements for perfect fit with the diff outdrives. The gears are individually machined on a precision German gear machine and every gear is individually tested, inspected, and run in. The diff gear is then laser engraved with for easy and instant recognition. Their special heat treatment makes the gear very hard and strong not only on the surface but also in the core, thus give the gear an extraordinarily-long lifespan with very low wear comparing to standard gears.

Serpent release full details on the new 733

We brought you the first exclusive pictures of the 733, Serpent’s all new 1/10th scale 200mm chassis, last month and now Serpent have released the full details of their new car. The car is a radical change from their previous car featuring new geometry and roll-centers, lower center of gravity and modified weight-positioning for improved grip and better balance.

Atomic Carbon Losi CR2 conversion kit

Atomic Carbon have released this conversion set for the Team Losi XXX-CR 2wd buggy. The set features a carbon fibre chassis, front braces, battery straps, rear brace, LiPo brace, CSC side pods, brass battery posts, aerial holder and all the fasterners required to complete the conversion which are not included in the XXX-CR kit. Of course a donor is required to complete this conversion along with some other parts. As the motor is mounted in front of a rear drive axles, the motor will also need to be reversed and so this requires a specific speed controller that is capable of reverse rotation, details of which are listed on the Atomic Carbon website.

Losi Strike Short Course truck

Losi have announced the Strike, an electric 1/10-scale Short Course Truck in both Bind-N-Drive (BND) and also RTR versoins. Its rugged body comes out over the wheels, allowing you to bump, nudge and aggressively race without tangling and flipping other vehicles or getting hung-up on curbs and obstacles. The 1/10 Strike SCT features a water-resistant LiPo compatible reversing ESC, a brushless-ready all-metal gear transmission and a Losi receiver with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM technology.

ABEC35 Type-X ball bearings

ABEC35 have announced that their latest Type-X ball bearings for 1/8 nitro buggies and truggies are now available. Featuring special radial play to best fit plastic/composite parts, they sport medium and light grey shield colors for easy identification. With the exception of the clutch sizes, the grey shields are greased unlike the red and orange ones, and are ready for serious off-road actions. Available in a wide range of sizes they will fit most off road chassis’.
