King Headz RC8/T Aluminium parts

New from Aluminum aftermarket specialists King Headz are some new parts to fit the RC8 and RC8T from Team Associated. For the truggy there is this new CNC machined 7075 aircraft grade aluminium front shock tower. The tower has been anodised and then machined for a cool look and is super strong and is supplied with the necessary spacer to mount it. For the buggy there is a rear body mount block, which too is CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and anodized and are designed to increase rigidity and add strength to this area.

Winning Equation – X Factory X-6 Squared

The ‘Most successful mid-motor 2WD buggy’ has become even better, according to X Factory’s own Chazz Sinclair. Really? We will find out. When US based company X Factory introduced the X-6 three years ago it made a huge impact on the otherwise ‘traditional’ 2WD off-road buggy market. The X-6 utilized an unconventional design by dropping the popular rear motor design for the promising mid-motor layout associated with certain Italian sports cars … Despite that fact that some voices arose that state a real 2WD buggy has to have a rear mounted motor, the success of the X-6, especially in the UK, showed that X Factory made the correct decision. After introducing the upgraded ‘4-Gear’ version of the X-6 last year, X Factory have just released the new X-6 Squared with further improvements to make for a totally ‘dialled’ and near perfect ‘out of the box’ buggy. CS Electronic have released their Factory Professional 4000mAh LiPo saddle pack. Using high quality cells, this pack has a discharge rate of 35C, giving plenty of run time and power for all applications. Mounted in hard cases with 4mm gold connectors, these Korean produced cells correspond to EFRA regulations and are supplied with cables with 4mm connectors pre mounted as well as balance connector with 2mm gold contact.

Team Titan 24mm TC wheels

Team Titan have released a new 24mm wheel for rubber spec touring cars. Specially designed for use with Sorex and Powers rubber tire, the wheel is very precisely made, perfectly round and only 9 grams each. They come in 2 different plastic hardnesses, hard and soft, to adjust grip for different track conditions, and are sold in sets of 4.

KM Racing Gas Foam tires

KM Racing have released their own line of racing foam tires for both 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale 200mm. Coming pre mounted on durable white rims, the 1/8th scale wheels use a 6 spoke design similar to the Kyosho wheels, while the 1/10th rims use a 12 spoke lightweight design. Made using high quality Italian foam, they are available in the usual range of shores.

Zeppin Racing 8ight chassis protectors

Hong Kong based Zeppin Racing have released new rear end chassis protectors for the Losi 8ight buggy and truggy, similar to those made by DE Racing. Low profile, they are made from a soft but tough plastic, they protect the rear of the chassis plate and are mounted using the cars 4 rear block screws. Weighing only 5 grams each, they are sold in packs of 2.
