Xray NT1 Lightweight Diff outdrive adapters

Xray now offers lightweight CNC-machined diff outdrive adapters, made from tough Hudy Spring Steel, for serious racers who are conscious of weight savings. Available for both the front and rear differentials, the shafts are precision ground and polished for smooth operation, and have been strategically machined to be lighter than the standard versions, a weight saving of 25% on the front and 20% on the rear.

LRP Charity RC car Auction

LRP were in contact to inform us that they are auctioning off the car that DTM driver, and former Formula 1 racer, Markus Winkelhock drove at last weeks LRP TCM, for charity. The car is autographed and will be sold off to the highest bidder in the coming days on eBay, with all the money gathered going directly to ‘Aktion für krebskranke Kinder der Universitätskinderklinik in Heidelberg’, a special cancer clinic for children in the city of Heidelberg, and so a much deserving cause. The car itself is a Maverick Strada TC, a 1/10 4WD E-Touring car, with the body shell is a direct copy of the Markus’ current full size Audi A4 DTM-race car. As we mentioned previously, Hong Kong based Yeah Racing have finally released their F103 rear motor block. Machined from a single piece of aluminium, the black anodized rear pod is super stiff and because its machined all the holes align perfectly for ultra smooth performance. Suitable for the Tamiya F103RM / LM & 15th Anniversary chassis’ it has multiple rear wing mounting points and comes supplied with all the required fasteners.

It includes automatic cell count detection and confirms each cell condition by displaying the actual voltage of individual cells. It is supplied with three adapter styles that are compatible with Losi, Thunder Power and E-flite brands and can be used in conjunction with a LiPo balance charger or independently with a LiPo battery only.

Xray Tweak-free Servo Mount plate

Xray release this tweak-free servo mount plate for their XII that eliminates chassis tweak caused by improper servo mounting. The mount plate is centrally mounted along the chassis centre line while the servo is mounted independently on aluminum stands on the graphite servo mount plate. This design ensures that the servo is mounted independently of the chassis and will not produce any unwanted chassis tweak. Available for mid size servos and separately for micro size servos.

ABEC35 Type-X bearings

ABEC35 Type-X bearings

ABEC35 have released their long awaited Type-X bearings following months of R&D, their drivers having tested them for 2-3 months with satifactory results. They are very smooth and have super long life time, with the company claiming that these new bearings work best mounted into composite parts. There are a total of 33 sizes, with the first lot available for 1/10th & 1/8th competition nitro on road. The second lot will be for 1/10th competition electric on road and buggies, with the final lot for 1/12th scale pan chassis’ and 1/8 nitro buggies & truggies. The bearings can be easily identified by the shield colour, with the red shields having oiled steel balls, the orange shields having oiled ceramic balls, the medium grey shields having greased steel balls and finally the light grey shields having greased ceramic balls.

Team Orion CRF 21 Buggy US Spec

Introduced in 2005 the Team Orion CRF engines made some impact on the market with their completely different crankshaft design that was developed by Fabrice Ramella. Hence the name ‘CRF’ (which stands for Concept Ramella Fabrice). The idea behind the CRF technology is to have better control over the mixture that flows from the carburettor through the crankshaft into the combustion chamber.
