CS Electronic Micro cells, motors & tires

CS Electronic have announced the release of some new products for micro racers including new batteries, motors and tires. The cells are 1600mAh and replace the older 1500mAh offering more run time and power. The new micro magnetic brushless motors are designed to fit 1/18th scale vehicles and come in a range of versions from 6500kv to 9000kv. Finally to help your super quick micro vehicle around the track, CS now offer new foam tires for both front and rear with the front shores in 42, 45, 48 and 50, while the rear come in 34, 36, 38 and 40.

Xray XT8 Active Differential

Xray have released this unique Active Differential, a high-performance, adjustable front gear differential for XT8 truggies, which vastly improves the truggy’s speed and handling characteristics. SMP lightweight Titanium axles

Swiss after market parts maker SMP have released some new titanium wheel axles for the Serpent 720. Weighing only 6.8 grams each, they are 40% lighter than the standard axles which helps increase responsiveness and of course lowers the overall weight of the car.

Shepherd Velox 2009 Upright set

Shepherd have released a new set of 2009 uprights and steering blocks and corresponding ecentric insert for the Velox. This setup makes it is possible to use smaller tyres with the same ride height, an extremely useful option in long finals to avoid a tyre change. The ecentric inserts are made of high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium for a perfect fit of the ball bearings, while the uprights are glass fibre-reinforced to ensure a stable position of the inserts. The set contains 2 rear uprights, 2 front steering blocks, 8 aluminum eccenters and 8 corresponding ball bearings.

IDM DM WC’08 clutch set

Italian company IDM, run by World Champion Daniele Ielasi, has announced the release of the DM WC’08 a new Power Clutch for 1/10th scale 200mm. Used and developed by Ielasi at the World Championship in Lisbon last August, this new clutch system has larger diameter internals (clutch, flywheel, clutch-shoe, bell) for more bite in acceleration for reduced fuel consumption and better life for the clutch shoe. The kit also includes two pinions (16/22), suitable for all manufacturers cars, both of which have been made from a hard material for increased life.
