RC-Cox setup system aluminium tray

RC-Cox helps to organise pit spaces with the introduction of their new aluminium tray for Arrowmax or Hudy setup systems. Machined from high-quality aluminium and sporting a detachable toe plate holder as well as a carbon fibre insert for looks, the tray was designed to hold 1/12th to 1/8th scale setup systems as well as the acrylic toe plate and four wheel thumb nuts. The toe plate holder can be attached on the left or right hand side as well as the back, ensuring the plate wouldn’t disturb the mechanic during building, setup or maintenance. The black anodised tray come with machined silver edge details and it is available now.

T-Works RC8B3.1 aluminium shock caps

Coming from T-Works and made for Team Associated RC8B3.1 series kits are two new aluminium shock cap sets. Available as volume compensating diaphragm and bleeder cap aeration set, the shock caps allow to adjust the shock performance to match specific needs when it comes to track conditions or driving styles. The diaphragm set includes a total of eight rubber volume compensators in hollow and honeycomb design while the aeration shock cap kit includes seals and gold-colour bleeder screws. Also included in both sets are shock mount bushings for improved durability.

Reds Racing 8000mAh & 6500mAh 4S LiPo packs

Reds Racing have announced the release of their all-new 14.8V 4S hardcase LiPo battery packs. Available as 8000mAh 100C and 6500mAh 75C variants, both are made of high-quality cells and they come in a protective hardcase pre-wired with industry-standard balancer ports and T-type connectors. The 4S packs are ideal for competition 1/8th scale on-road and off-road usage with 1/10th and 1/12th scale 2S and 1S packs following at a later date.

T-Works roll out B74 optionals

Coming from T-Works and made for the new Team Associated B74 buggy are a couple of option parts such as titanium ball ends, turnbuckles and screw sets. First up is a 14-piece ball end set that is machined from high-quality 64 grade titanium. The parts replace the standard ball ends for items of lower weight and greater corrosion resistance. Also new is a 7-piece set of titanium turnbuckles. Like the ball ends the parts will lower the overall weight while offering cool looks and greater corrosion resistance. Last but not least come two screw kits – a 119-piece UFO head titanium set and a 144-piece gold-colour steel fastener kit. The titanium set will again make for a weight reduction while the golden screws mainly add bling.

SWorkz S35-3/2E series centre roll bar brace

SWorkz have introduced a centre roll bar brace conversion kit for the S35-3E, S35-2E and Apollo series off-road kits. The design, that connects the front upper plate, the centre diff plate and the rear gearbox, will greatly improve the pitch stiffness of the chassis while maintaining torsional flex. The result is optimsed punch and acceleration while maintaining side bite and aggressive cornering. The set includes all needed parts and it is a direct fit.

RC Race Prep ZooRacing anti-tuck arms & wing mounts

UK based brand RC Race Prep have announced the release of their new anti-tuck arms and adjustable wing mounts for the ZooRacing range of touring car body shells. Starting with the anti-tuck arms, the aim of this design is to decrease the chance of a body tuck within a run. A body tuck just at the wrong moment has the potential to ruin the entire event for the driver and team. The way the arm has been designed is to disperse the energy from the impact and not damage the shell. The parts weigh in at just 2.2g each and when designing the arm, RC Race Prep chose to use the production methods weakness to the designs advantage. The screw hole at the base of the flex arm can be fixed to the bodyshell to further support the rear of the shell. Upon impact, the layers around the hole will delaminate dispersing some of the energy from the impact. This means that on impact the contact patch on the wheel is effected as little as possible. This is a critical performance aid when running with a lightweight shell as the vertical load is applied down the arm to the fixed location point on the arm. The resistance given by the arm is also a key part of the design process. To change the flex characteristics, the designers produced a variety of arms with different arks and thicknesses. The result is an anti-tuck arm whose resistance is great enough to push the body back to its resting vacuum formed position, yet not so great to unload the wheel during impact causing the car to loose traction.

SWorkz S14-3 81T centre gear diff set

Coming from SWorkz and made for the S14-3 1/10th 4WD buggy is a 81T centre gear differential set. The set is a direct fit and it will make for an easier to drive car on both dirt and carpet. The set includes a 81T spur gear with smaller 78T and 72T main gears being available separately.

Vortex Racing Aeris 30mm fan duct

Coming from Vortex Racing is their new Aeris fan duct for common 30mm fan units. The duct has been optimised to keeping the motor as cool as possible for increased overall performance and less fading towards the end of a run. While cold air is forced through the fan and duct, a specially-shaped air vent helps hot air to escape which further increases cooling performance. Two recessed sections on the sides allow for easy fan insertion and removal. The duct is made of high-tech resin for exceptional durability and less changes or cracking.
