Futaba HPS-CT700 low-profile servo – Coming soon

During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan, Futaba are presenting their forthcoming new HPS-CT700 low-profile servo. Housed in an aluminium case the high-voltage compatible servo pulls 24.8kg-cm of torque with a speed of 0.09s at 6.0V input which makes it powerful enough even for demanding nitro applications. An all-black wire makes for a stealthy factory appearance. Full information will become available in time for the release. Also coming is an aluminium steering wheel housing for the 7PX high-end radio system. Made to replace the standard composite part, the exclusive alloy item will improve case stiffness and thus steering precision and handling of the transmitter.

Traxxas TRX-4 All-Terrain Traxx track set

Traxxas have introduced their new Traxx All-Terrain track set for the TRX-4 trail truck. The large contact patch and grippy treads shrug off the deepest mud and float across deep sand while raising the portal axles even higher for increased ground clearance that lets drivers straddle huge obstacles on the trail. Each Traxx drive unit is engineered for rugged, yet smooth performance. An adjustable tension wheel keeps the treads tight while suspended road wheels allow the tread to conform to surface irregularities for maximum traction. Oil-filled dampers on each drive unit control rotational movements to help keep the tread glued to the surface. The rear Traxx drive units are longer to allow climbing steeper grades with authority. The track set is designed for the use with Traxxas’ TRX-4 trail truck but it is understood to fit other trail trucks as well.
