Spektrum Smart Technology chargers & LiPo batteries

Coming from Horizon Hobby are the new Spektrum Smart Technology chargers and LiPo battery packs. The Spektrum Smart Technology practically takes care of all of the battery’s vital aspects while storing unique data such as chemistry type, cycle count, charge rate, error log, and more, plus programming options to custom tailor the Smart LiPo battery to the owner’s needs. This innovative connection is made possible by an installed microchip on every battery, feeding the unique information through a data cable to the new IC3 and IC5 connectors. Every Smart LiPo battery is factory assembled with the next-generation IC3 or IC5 output connector that’s conveniently compatible with older devices equipped with EC3 and EC5 connectors. Owners can use Smart batteries with non-Smart systems, but only when connected to a Spektrum Smart device will all the benefits of Smart technology become obvious.

JConcepts carpet/astro high-clearance wing

A new high-clearance wing for 1/10th scale buggies has been developed and manufactured by JConcepts. The HCW incorporates a short-chord design for quick rotation and a flat-base which provides more tire clearance. The durable design has chopped rear corners for rigidity plus a traditional rear trim-line for a great balance of down-force and low-drag. The side-dams of the wing feature hard radius cut-outs which allow even more tyre rear expansion and flex space. JConcepts designer Paul Wynn added dual stability fangs which also help boost the front to rear structure. The rear of the wing still maintains a high-angle to vertical rear dam to give drivers a straight-forward layout suited to high-speed circuits. The HCW is a direct bolt-on piece for most 1/10th buggies and includes two pieces per package. Cut-lines are positioned throughout for trim and tuning options to provide racers feel control over one of the most important elements in 1/10th off-road racing.

Capricorn LAB F1-02 USA Version aluminium chassis

Specially made for the US market is Capricorn’s new USA Version aluminium main chassis plate for the LAB F1-02 formula car. Developed for high to very high bite tracks as they are experienced in America, the main chassis and rear lower pod plate are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come black anodised and with machined edge details. Using the chassis over the standard carbon fibre components will improve traction and drivability.

Novarossi EFRA 2135 off-road exhaust pipe

Coming from Novarossi is their new EFRA 2135 tuned exhaust pipe for 1/8th off-road vehicles. When combined with Novarossi’s 41021 manifold the Hipex-made pipe will offer increased overall performance while maintaining fuel consumption. The exhaust is a universal fit for most 1/8th off-road engines.

Yeah Racing 2-in-1 alloy camber gauge tray

Yeah Racing have introduced their new black colour 2-in-1 aluminium camber gauge parts tray. The tool is a combination of a fully functional 1/10th on-road camber gauge and small parts tray. It allows to measure camber angles at 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 degrees which allows quick adjustment on the track-side and at the same time it could be use as a tray to keep screws and small parts in place.

Traxxas introduce updated E-Revo monster truck

Coming soon from Traxxas is their updated E-Revo electric monster truck that received some subtle changes to further improve power, speed and strength. The truck features a new Maxx-Spec driveline that was inspired by the larger X-Maxx truck with the E-Revo sporting a sturdy all-metal drivetrain with reinforced diffs, gears and driveshafts. Also new for the 2019 E-Revo is self-righting ability that, with the simply press a button on the transmitter, in most circumstances, will bring the truck back on its wheels in just seconds. Armed with a fortified drivetrain, E-Revo’s VXL-6s power system now pounds out more tire-scorching motivation than ever before, all the way to more than 110km/h or 70mph. Advanced design and sophisticated microprocessor control make this the most punchy and reliable high-voltage VXL power system ever. Exotek Rock Rey alloy diff case & steel brake disks

Exotek have introduced two new option parts for the Losi Rock Rey kits in the form of a heavy duty aluminium diff gear case and a stainless steel brake disk set. Starting with the diff case, the item was designed for the front or rear of the Losi Rock or Baja Rey vehicles. It includes bigger-than-stock steel diff screws to prevent blowing out the gear diff under heavy loads. Also new is a drilled stainless steel hex brake disk set for the Rey series of off-road cars. The 1-piece design combines the brake disk and wheel hex for increased durability and true wheel alignment. Drilled vented slots add realism and style to the ride. The set includes four brake disks and it is a direct fit.
