Coming from IGT8 and made for their 1/8th GT cars is a 12 degree aluminium hub carrier set. The items are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and come red anodised to match the remainder of the alloy option parts. Using the steering knuckle carriers will improve on-power steering compared to the 10 degree carriers.

Coming from T-Works and made for the Mugen MBX8 Eco 1/8th electric buggy are two new screw sets. First up is a 156-piece set of 64-grade titanium fasteners that includes UFO button head screws. The bolts are highly corrosion resistant, they scrub a good amount of weight and also add a bit of visual impact. The second new kit is a 167-piece set of gold-colour steel screws. Keeping the weight the same as the standard kit screws the set mainly adds a bit of bling.

During this week’s ROAR Fuel Off-road Nationals JConcepts have introduced their new Ellipse low-height tread pattern. Named after the centre bar built into the tread, the Ellipse is a compliment to successful tyres such as the Dirt Webs and Space Bar. The “web” style tyre was built to compete on smooth high-grip indoor and outdoor surfaces which require a finely detailed connected bar pattern. The tread will be available as 1/8th and 1/10th tyre during the later stages of the 2018 season.
RCON Design have release first information on their forthcoming Club 1275EST body shell for 225mm M-type cars. The estate version of their Club 1275GT body shell is made of 1.2mm polycarbonate for durability and it resembles the iconic Mini Clubman van decked out with a crazy 1980’s style wide body and aero kit, giving the shell greater downforce compared to standard M-type bodies.
Coming from Yeah Racing are their new Spec T SJ10 treaded touring car tyres. They come pre-mounted on black multi-spoke rims and can be run in either direction to provide different grip characteristics. Inserts prevent the tyre from deforming whist cornering and with their 12mm hex they can be run on most 1/10th scale touring cars.

HB Racing have announced the release of their limited edition World Championship Edition T-shirts for the IFMAR 1/8 nitro off-road Worlds in Australia later this year. The grey shirts feature a large HB Racing logo filled with the Aussie flag and race logos on the front. Modify from Japan have introduced their new LiPo Guard protective bags for standard-sized 2S LiPo battery packs. The tailor-made bags are fabricated from fire-repelling heavy-duty tarpaulin fabric and are ideal to protect Lithium-based batteries during storage and transportation while also reducing harm in case a battery goes boom due to mistreatment. The bags are available in black and silver colour and they sport a printed Modify logo.

During this week’s ROAR Gas Off-road Nationals Pro-Line is showing their forthcoming Positron VTR tyre for 1/8th off-road truggies. The tread was already introduced for the buggy class and will soon also become available for race trucks. No word yet on an official release date but the tyre is expected to hit stores soon.
