KO Propo EX-LDT radio system

During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan KO Propo are showing their forthcoming all-new EX-LDT high-end radio system. The radio is understood to range above the current EX-RR and it features a new grip unit with updated lower battery compartment and the laydown trigger system the company is working on for some time now. Information on specifications and features isn’t available yet but we keep you posted on the progress.

Futaba HPS-CT700 low-profile servo – Coming soon

During this week’s Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan, Futaba are presenting their forthcoming new HPS-CT700 low-profile servo. Housed in an aluminium case the high-voltage compatible servo pulls 24.8kg-cm of torque with a speed of 0.09s at 6.0V input which makes it powerful enough even for demanding nitro applications. An all-black wire makes for a stealthy factory appearance. Full information will become available in time for the release. Also coming is an aluminium steering wheel housing for the 7PX high-end radio system. Made to replace the standard composite part, the exclusive alloy item will improve case stiffness and thus steering precision and handling of the transmitter.

Team Powers TP-DS1550SR low-profile servo

Team Powers have introduced their new TP-DS1550SR low-profile servo for 1/10th scale on-road and off-road classes. The high-voltage compatible servo offers up to 13kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.055s and it is compatible with Sanwa’s SSR mode. Other features include a hard-coated steel geartrain for durability and a brushless motor for speed and torque. A black servo wire ensures factory looks and the servo is available now.

Sanwa M17 aluminium option parts

Sanwa have introduced a range of aluminium option parts for their new M17 top-of-the-foodchain radio system. Available now are a steering wheel, the steering base, steering spacer, the small dial as well as the handle. All are made of high-quality alloy material, they come black anodised for wear and looks and all except the steering spacer are machined to reveal silver edge details for looks. Using the easy to install parts adds visual impact and rigidity with the steering spacer part also allowing to access two extra steering wheel positions. All items are available separately or as convenient combo set.

KO Propo EX-RR ST2 radio system

KO Propo have introduced their new EX-RR ST2 competition radio system. The radio system features an updated pistol grip and as well as the ST-2 steering wheel unit that both utilise redesigned potentiometers that offer greatly improved durability as well as offering a finer resolution, resulting in optimised throttle and steering feeling. The new potis are said to last 100 times longer than the previous parts, ensuring precise car control even after countless hours of usage. In addition the steering wheel shaft now is dual ball raced for even greater precision and smoother operation, ensuring the soft steering wheel return spring can operate at greater efficiency. Also part of the updated package is the new grip unit with the throttle lever’s updated geometry allowing for a better and more direct throttle feeling while still retaining its compact site. The EX-RR ST-2 radio comes with the recently introduced Ver.2.12 firmware for the Master Unit that features a rollout calculator for pan cars, a new push control (auto) throttle function that overrides the strong magnetic fields of high-torque motors, and the firmware also includes a new down timer. The EX-RR ST-2 is available including one or two KR-418FH or one or two KR-415FHD receivers from mid-May.

SMJ M17 wireless charger set

SMJ have introduced a wireless charger set for the Sanwa M17 transmitter. The charger was designed to simply place the radio on top of it, allowing to charger its batteries without removing them from the transmitter. The charger bay is also usable for smartphones with wireless charging capabilities. Not includes in the set is the needed AC adapter.

GForce M17 transmitter bag

GForce have announced the soon release of their new transmitter bag for the Sanwa M17 radio. Made from tough and durable fibre material and sporting a precision-cut inner foam, the bag will fit Sanwa’s new high-end transmitter like a glove, ensuring secure transportation and storage of the precious radio. Two additional cut outs allow to carry and additional receiver as well as batteries. Two handles make for easy transport and an inner bag holds the radio’s manual.

One ARX-482 R 2.4GHz 4-channel receiver

Capricorn have introduced the new One ARX-482 R 4-channel Sanwa-compatible receiver. Measuring 23.6×18.4×28.4mm and weighing in at 7.3g the compact “antenna-less” receiver is compatible with all current Sanwa FH3/FH4T transmitters including the all-new M17 and it features on-board voltage monitoring and is 1S to 2S LiPo compatible thanks to a voltage stabilising system. Included with the receiver come four stickers with 1 to 4 numbering, allowing to individually mark additional units.
