Futura Wet tyre additive

Futura 2012 have released their new tyre additive for wet surfaces. This new additive has been made with special components to improve traction on tire treads on slippery wet surfaces. It is enough to apply the additive on the tyre 2 minutes before the race or apply 2 coats for better traction, leaving couple of minutes between applications. Also Futura Wet comes in handy airtight cans with application brush, suitable for foam and rubber tyre.

Vertigo Performance Tyres stiff rims

Italian company Vertigo performance tyres have released a new rim made with a light polymer with graphite polymer inside. The new rims guarantees top performance during a complete race, without the structural deformation normally caused by hot temperatures. Also with this new material Vertigo have improved the structural design of the wheel to improve upon some minor structural deformation.

JConcepts SCT Bar Codes tires

JConcepts popular Bar Code SC tires are now also available in blue “soft” compound. The tire is designed to excel both in new and used condition on hard surfaces that have taken rubber with either dry or wet grooved conditions. Worn Bar Codes excel on indoor or outdoor clay tracks where a minimal dust groove has formed. Included with the tires are light-weight and durable Closed Cell profiled inserts.

Pro-Line Hole Shot 2.0 & Square Fuzzie

Pro-Line have released a number of new additions to their tire range starting with the 1/8th buggy Hole Shot 2.0. The Hole Shot 2.0 provides more forward traction, increased steering response and is less edgy in the ruts making you faster than ever before. Their mini-pin and square lug technology combine to give your Buggy TQ pace and last through long mains. Also for 1/8th buggy is the Tazer and Blockade are now available pre mounted on V2 white wheels with the Tazer available in M3 and M4, while the Blockade only comes in M4. For 1/10th scale buggy there is the return of the Square Fuzzie. The new Square Fuzzie features countless square micro-pins laid out in a traction inducing grid pattern that will stick to the track like Velcro while the long center bars provide tons of forward bite and improved wear over the Original. Hot Bodies Gridlock tire

Hot Bodies’ new prototype Gridlock tire utilizes design features creating a tire that will be easier to drive while also providing a linear amount of steering gain throughout the steering travel. The Gridlock tire will make the car more stable and easier to drive on track conditions where the dirt is hard packed with some sharp edged bumps. Another condition the Gridlock tire performs great in is where the track might be a little too dusty for the Megabite tire but not loamy enough for the Megagrid tire. Hot Bodies Tires are known for their long life with low tread wear, the Gridlock tire’s tread wear life will be greater than that of the Megabite tire providing the consumer with a tire that performs very well and also has a long life.

After numerous requests JConcepts has hit the easy button once again and is now offering its most popular SCT tires pre-mounted on the new +3mm Hazard wheel. The Hazard wheel pre-mount combination fits a variety of vehicles including the SC10 RS, SC10 4×4 as a direct fit and SC10 FT, Losi XXX-SCT and SCB with 12mm hex adaptors.
