Capricorn F1 wheels & LAB-C801 options

Capricorn have announced the addition to their current range of 1/8th scale tires, the F1. Expected to be released soon, these rims are super lightweight and will of course be available in the usual range of pre mounted shores. Also new for the LAB C801 is updated carbon fibre rear upper wishbone mounting brackets that feature 3mm higher mounting position for the pin. Up front for the same car is new upper suspension brackets which are 1.5mm further inward for improved steering response.

Pro-Line Blockade SC sneak peek

Pro-Line have sent out a sneak peak of their new Blockade SC tire. Having been very successful at the 2011 ROAR Gas Nationals the new tire has been transferred across to this new SC form. Notable Features include revolutionary long lasting tread pattern which generates exceptional forward and side bite on a variety of surfaces and latest generation V2 SC wide carcass for increased contact patch.

Speedtech RC MobGums 1/12 scale tyres

Speedtech RC from Germany now have an extended line of MobGum tyres for 1/12 scale on-road cars available. Additionally to the existing line of tyres the company now offers Jaco Magenta and Double-Pink front as well as Pink and Magenta rear foam on Yokomo R12 wheels. Also, MobGums tyres on grey Prism wheels will be shipped in a race ready size now. The rears feature 45 mm diameter with the front tyres being 43 mm in size. This does away with the often unwanted need to trim and true the tyres before use.

RB 1/8th off-road tyres

Seen for the first time at the recent 1/8 scale nitro off-road European Championship in Sand/Germany, the new line of RB buggy tyres becomes available very soon. Coming in the form of three different medium to fine threads and in supersoft, soft and medium compound the tyres already showed their performance, with the only 11 lap run of the event was done using the RB Dragon thread. The tyres come either pre-glued on dish rims or as rubber only including a multi-purpose insert.

Fastrax 1/10 off-road moulded inserts

Fastrax have added new moulded inserts for 1/10 scale buggies to their growing range of tyre accessories. Available in three sizes suitable for 2WD front, 4WD front and rear tyres. The inserts are of a medium profile making them a good all-round solution.

Fastrax have added new moulded inserts for 1/10 scale Short Course trucks to their growing range of tyre accessories. Especially made for Traxxas Slash and HPI Blitz wheels that require stepped inserts with two different inner diameters.

In this video, made by Pro-Line, Scott Hughes talks about Pro-Line’s new wider 2.0 Short Course tyres. The US company has the Caliber SC, Hole Shot SC and Suburbs SC in the wider-than-normal 2.0 treads.
