GRP Endurance buggy tire

MRP, makers of the GRP tire range have sent us details on their full range of buggy tires. Most you have seen before, but new from the Italian company is the Endurance (first from left, click to make bigger). This is a very rounded tire with very big and low pins, ideal on flat, clean and very blue groove surfaces. It has a plain structure which makes it very smooth and fast on high grip tracks, where with traditional tires, the car tends to roll over easily, making driving very difficult. Its very long life pins makes it an unbeatable tire for all finals, also on high wear tracks. Also suitable for use on asphalt such as on road tracks or car parks. As with all the tires they are available in a variety of compounds, with a variety of inserts.

RB Speedline 1/12th scale tires

RB have released their new Speedline front and rear tires for 1/12th scale racing. Made from the best available foam for carpet racing, with incredible grip and traction. The tires are glued on lightweight white rims, delivered in pairs and available in grey, magenta, pink and white.

Sticky Fingers Traction compound

New from Team Epic is their odor free tire traction for foam and rubber, called sticky fingers. There is no Wintergreen in the formula so it will be legal for all races where only an odor free traction compound is allowed. Supplied in a 4 ounce bottle with easy to use dauber top.

Losi DLM2 Rubber dirt oval racing tires

New from Losi for their 1/8-scale L8ight dirt oval racer are these low profile DLM2 rubber dirt oval racing tires that provide the traction needed for oval racing, and meet the proposed ‘Spec’ racing rules. The tires come mounted on white 1/8 buggy dish wheels, include a precision foam inner liner, and will fit all 1/8-scale vehicles with 17 mm hexes.

The Caliber takes tire technology to the next level by optimizing traction, control, balance, and tire wear with its dual-stage design. The smaller top pin penetrates through loose dirt while delivering unbelievable side and forward bite. The base pin works as a support for the top pin while acting as a dual-stage design once the top pin is worn down. You can rely on the base pin for greater tread life wear and it works well on those tracks that are prone to blue-groove or have a super clean surface. Also new, to work with Caliber SC and other SC tires, from Pro-Line is the the Split Six one piece wheel, whose design is the staple look of short course vehicles. Capricorn RC Hard Light TC Foam tires

New from Italian company Capricorn RC is the latest addition to their Hard Light range of products, a new range of 1/10th scale foam tires. Featuring Italian foam, the new wheels are 30% stiffer than regular wheels and are also 10% lighter, which is thanks to a completely new plastic material which they have mixed with carbon. The tires are of course available in front and rear versions and come in the usual shore ranges.
