Nosram Xtreme Super Glue & Activator

Nosram is continuously developing high-quality additives and accessories to help you to win, and their latest products are no exception. First up is their Xtreme Super glue that allows you to perfectly bond tyres to wheels, while maintaining the elasticity of the tyre sidewalls that ensures the tyres will stay perfectly glued to the rims at all times. Chinese company VP Pro have been in contact to tell us about their latest off road tire release. The Cut Off tyre is a popular tyre in their buggy range and will be be brought across to their truggy line. A proven tread pattern, it provides the user with excellent grip and traction and will be available for sale soon.

LRP VTEC Kamikaze Buggy tires

After a long testing and development period, LRP have announced the release of their all new VTEC Kamikaze tire line. Specially developed for off road racing, the Kamikaze sets new benchmarks in terms of life, wear and grip in today’s off road racing. The LRP R&D team, in close cooperation with their team drivers, have developed a special compound that provides the highest grip and longest lifespan for any racing application and will be offered in a soft compound for highest performance during qualifying, as well as a medium compound for finals. Also available as pre-mounts, that use LRP’s special gluing system to provide the highest durability, they come with a special moulded insert which reduces tire wear to a minimum. In addition, the all new Kamikaze tire features revolutionary venting holes to aid performance through optimum air circulation, avoiding pressure in the tire ensuring the insert works at even the highest rpm. To easily distinguish between the different compounds the hardness of the tire is embedded in the side wall.

JACO Prism 1.5 & Rubberz on Prism

JACO have announced that their Rubberz line of pre mounted rubber sedan tires now come glued on the company’s new Prism wheel. This new wheel has been designed to specifically suit rubber tires with just the right amount of flex for superior traction and durability. Also new from JACO is the release of pre mounted Nitro Shoes to their new Prism 1.5 wheel. Featuring a 1.5 degree taper, the wheel has a smaller inner edge diameter which matches the camber used on most nitro touring cars and so ensures an even depth of foam accross the surface. JACO claim these new lightweight wheels offer a longer tire life, increased traction, improved forward bite and more consistent performance.

CS Electronic Bonding Agent

CS Electronic have released this bonding Agent, perfect for preparing your rubber tires and wheels before gluing. Preperation of the surfaces is extremely important before gluing and this agent ensures that the surfaces are completely clean and free of grease. Unlike other products such as brake cleaner, this product does not leave behind any traces of oil and enables the glue used to bond the wheel and tire together perfectly.

Atomic RC Kysoho Spada 09 tires

More new tires from Atomic RC, this time some foam versions for use on the Kyosho 1/12th scale Spada 09. Pre mounted on white rims, the front tires are available in middle or soft hardnesses, while the rear tires are also available in the same compounds.

Atomic RC High Grip Formula tires

Atomic RC have released these new High Grip Formula tires for use on Mini-Z chassis’. Featuring a radial tread pattern, this helps gain more rear grip under acceleration, while swapping the tires to have the tread pattern the opposite direction will give the car a different feeling. Available in 2 high grip models, silicone rubber and normal rubber, these tires have been extensively tested, and work best on carpet and RCP surfaces respectively.

JConcepts Hit Men Racing tires

More new tires from JConcepts, this time for 1/8th scale buggies. Called the Hit Men, the unique pyramid lug design combined with sticky compounds like yellow and blue allow the flexibility necessary to compete on a multitude of the most demanding surfaces for an extended period of time. They are a special breed, designed for maximum performance when new or used as the design allows even wear all the way down to the tire body.
