Coming from Raceform RC is a dedicated Lazer series tyre glueing jig for 1/10th short course tyres. The tool helps to easily and conveniently glue SC tyres, ensuring reliable bonding of rubber and rim. The jig is convertible for the use with 1/8th buggy tyres and the first batch will even include the conversion for free. HB Racing’s popular Megabite 1/8th buggy tyre is now also available in the new medium soft Yellow rubber compound that fits between the super soft Pink compound and the soft Red rubber. The Yellow compound Megabite tyre is an ideal choice for spec racing, and are the official tyre used in the HB Race Days events. HB Megabite tyres are suitable for outdoor and indoor tracks with wet or damp surfaces and a clean racing line. Hundreds of short square pins arranged around the carcass provide traction in the corners and a central double-row of extra-wide treads give exceptional acceleration and stopping power. They come mounted on HB Racing’s Version 2 dish wheels that are 20 percent lighter than the original version, and HB Racing black closed cell inserts are pre-installed.

Pro-Line have announced the release of three new carpet and astro turf tyres for 1/10th scale buggies. First up is the Wedge LP 4WD front tyre that uses the popular Wedge tread that provides lots of steering without being too grabby while the lower profile tyre shape provides better corner speed and faster lap times. The tyre is also more user-friendly because it doesn’t require any hand trimming of pins for optimum performance. The overall size of the low-profile 4WD front Wedge is a better match to Pro-Line’s new low-profile Prism 2.0 and Pyramid rear tyres so drivers don’t have to worry about unequal tyre runout front to rear.
Matrix Tires, more famous for the production of foam tires, have introduced their second line of rubber tires, this time for 1/10th touring car. Round and black and supplied on white dish wheels, they are available immediately in a set of 4 and in various compounds.

SXT Racing Products’ tire break-in bit allows to sand down or smoke tires with ease. The tool is available with a 12mm hex for all 1/10 on-road, off-road and oval needs and it is also usable with 17mm hex wheels thanks to an optional adapter, allowing to work with 1/8th buggy, truggy and GT wheels. The break-in bit is just over 100mm long and made from HSS steel with a wide brass hex to keep the wheel stable and locked down with double set screws. The 17mm adapter is available separately or included with the 12mm hex brea-in bit.
Coming for trucks such as the Traxxas Rustler 2WD or 4×4 are three new specialised 2.8” tyres from Pro-Line. Starting with the Trencher LP 2.8” all-terrain tyre, the tread is ideal when running in loose or hard-packed dirt, sand, snow, street or gravel conditions. The Trencher LP 2.8” is a direct replacement tyre and will fit on any 2.8” wheels including all of Pro-Line’s 2.8” wheel options. The Trencher tread was designed to have ultimate traction combined with long-lasting durability.
