The second in the line of Hot Race Tyres’ new 1/8th buggy rubbers is the Bangkok. Used at last weekend’s World Indoor Buggy to gain the TQ spot after the qualifiers and the runner-up spot in the main final, the tyre is of a mini pin design with an inner mesh making for lower and more even tyre wear. The tyre is available in supersoft, soft, medium and hard compound.

AKA have introduced the Slicks 1/10th stadium truck tyres. The treadless tyre is designed for maximum performance on high-grip, indoor clay tracks and it features a matte finish. It is compatible with all standard 2.2″ stadium truck wheels, available in AKA’s Clay compound and included are Red soft closed cell inserts.

Italian company Hot Race Tyres has introduced the first in a line of new 1/8th buggy tyres. Called the Roma, the tyre sports a medium-size square block tread with specially shaped outer blocks while an inner mesh design makes for lower and more even tyre wear. The Roma is available in a supersoft, soft, medium and hard compound and despite the somewhat directional design it does not have a fixed rolling direction and can be used both ways around to adjust the overall traction.

Italian company Hot Race have announced the forthcoming release of a new line of 1/8th buggy tyres. First up will be three different treads, called Miami, Bangkok and Rome, named after milestone cities in Hot Race’s history, that will be on show at the World Indoor Championships at IBR Padova. The tyres are ready to hit the market at the beginning of January 2016 and more details will be available soon.

Italian company Hot Race have announced the release of the Alexander Hagberg edition foam tyres for 1/12th scale pan cars. Using a special foam selected and formally exclusively used by Hot Race factory team driver Alexander Hagberg, the tyres are now also available to the public and they offer more grip and less wear compared to the standard foam, making them a tuning option for a range of track conditions. The tyres come pre-trued on Hot Race’s standard rims.

Mibosport have introduced their tire knife tool for rubber on-road tyres. The razor-sharp fork helps to remove the performance-hampering moulding flash on touring car and formula rubber tires, thus doing away with the need to pre-scrub the tire before use in most cases. The knife is made from high-quality stainless steel and it comes etched with the Mibosport logo.
New from Arrowmax and made for all 1/10th buggy wheels with 14mm hex adapters is the tyre balancing station. The tool is made from high-quality aluminium, it comes gun metal anodised and machined to match Arrowmax’ signature honeycomb design. The ball-raced wheel adapter minimised friction for a high degree of accuracy when balancing your buggy wheels.

Absima have two new pre-glued tyre sets for 1/10th 2WD buggies available. First up is a dedicated front tyre with cut rib design that is suitable for a range of surfaces. Also new is a medium-size block tread tyre, good for the use on hard-packed or artificial surfaces. Both come pre-glued on black zero off-set rims with industry standard 12mm hex and they are sold as pairs.
