Mugen have released 2 new starter boxes to suit both 1/8th and 1/10th on road and 1/8th off road cars. Made from F39 aluminium, these grey anodised boxes feature the usual dual motors and long life starter wheel and thanks to adjustable pegs and stops on the top plate of the box you can easily make any car align nicely on top.

Darkside Motorsports have announced that they are selling their 1/10th scale Oval Setup wheels, which like the Team Tamale wheels, offer the option of adjusting the virtual tire diameter by rotating the Octagonal wheel to the specified measurement.
They simulate eight different tire diameters from 2.31″ to 2.10″. Use these wheels to measure and adjust chassis ride height, track width, wheel offsets and stagger. When matched with a set of tweak scales, weight distribution can also be simulated and slight changes can be modeled with ease. The wheels are matched such that wheelbase dimensions can also be easily measured. Simply put, they provide a foundation for repeatable measurements and set-ups. Each set comes with 2 front wheels, 2 rear wheels and a re-usable storage case.

More stuff from JConcepts, this time its the release of their new Imperial and Metric Wrench sets which as you can see come with colour coded handles and are supplied in a handy carry case with the JConcepts logo on the front.
JConcepts Wrench Sets are available in a 5 pc. Standard set and a 4 pc. Metric set and each set includes a JConcepts zippered carrying case for easy storage and transfer. To make locating the right size easy, each Wrench Set has a different color-coded handle on which the wrench size is clearly laser-etched. Continuing on the tools vibe we see that Speed Way Pal, out of Japan, have released these nice ride height gauges. Available in 4 anodised colours, red, black, grey and blue, they feature measurements in both full and half mm increments and the measuring surface is completely smooth for a more accurate, and easier obtainable, reading.

Everyone seems to have their own tools these days and OCM Racing are another company to jump on that product line with the release of some images and details about their new Hudy ‘inspired’ tools. Spotted by our mates Joneh RC, the new tools set comes in all the usual sizes and also sports a flywheel gripper tool as well as some nut spinners, allen heads, philips heads, flat heads and allen ball heads all with metal knurled handles.

If you race the Kyosho Mini-Z, or even own one, then this is the one thing you have to have. This awesome Multi Tool kit from Atomic RC is basically all the tips you need to work on your min-z in one tool. On one side of the carbon effect handle, which features anodised ends in Titanium, orange, silver and blue, you have a 4.5mm socket driver that enables you to remove the wheels from your car, while the other end accommodates and double ended tip that has a small 3.5mm philips head screw driver on one side and a 1.5mm allen head on the other end.
