Knowing the static weight distribution inside your RC car provides you with a solid basis for optimising your set-up. With the Ruddog Bluetooth RC wheel load scales, you can easily find out the individual wheel loads and distribution ratios and help you adjust the placement of your electronics or spring load as required. JConcepts metal car stand

The JConcepts metal car stand is perfect for the 1/8th or 1/10th racer looking to add a little sturdiness to their racing program. The all-aluminium formed and cut piece, designed by JConcepts, has a unique shape, cut-outs for handles and features laser etched logos for identification. The item stands tall and keeps the wheels off the ground for an array of vehicles. Included in the design, the upper deck has pre-cut holes into the material to act as a shock stand for 1/8th or 1/10th off-road shocks. Included foam for the top deck and legs help cushion and protect the chassis of vehicles, shocks, and table or pit area. The textured metal surface is available in blue or black anodising with a luxurious high-end look to finish off any pit area with a JConcepts touch. JConcepts also offer a RM2 red anodised version of the metal car stand.

Avid bearing tool, multi-wrench & tweezers

Avid have introduced some essential tools to their line-up. First up is the bearing sizer/tester, the perfect tool for seeing if your bearings need to be maintained by spinning them while they are on the sizer. Suitable for bearing sizes of 1/8″, 4, 5, 6, 1/4″, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15mm. Next up is the ubiquitous 4-in-1 multi-wrench. Made from durable steel, it has a 8mm nut wrench for glow plugs, 10mm nut wrench for clutch nuts, 3mm hex for M4 chassis screws and 5mm hex for pillow ball adjustment. Finally there are two different tweezers, a straight and curved version for helping with small parts and fasteners.

Avid line of part boxes

Avid have announced the release of their new line of Avid part boxes. The plastic part boxes come in different shapes and sizes, with different internal bin layouts allowing easy organisation of all your small parts. Available in 4 versions there is the 3 bin parts box (180x115x20mm), 10 bin parts box (130x168x23mm), 15 bin parts box (175x100x23mm) and finally the round 8 bin parts box (105x25mm).

JConcepts Mini Aero car stand

JConcepts begins the new year with fresh pit-ware for the mini vehicle racing scene. The Aero car-stand in matte black material stands out in any pit area and supports the vehicle with its unique footing and highly chiseled shape. A rail-like border contains the shape while a deep draw along the sides creates a bold surface for included decal or custom wrap. A ‘V’ step-down feature was added to the ends which brings the styling back down to earth while the void creates added space below the vehicle. The design team focused on several aspects and the mini size was of utmost importance. A lower stance was built into the design and the smaller footprint occupies minimal space in the pits. Top load pockets were incorporated as catch-all compartments for body clips, wheel nuts or any small items that are routinely changed during a race event. Triangle cushion pads are positioned on the top to provide support all the way to the edges on mini platform vehicles to prevent slippage. JConcepts has included a decal wrap for maximum exposure and presence that has a new ‘forward pursuit” graphical theme.

T-Works 1.5mm ball Allen wrench

T-Works have released this 120mm long 1.5mm ball Allen wrench. Like the rest of the tools in the T-Works range they feature a lightweight aluminium tool handle that has the tool size represented on the top by machined rings for quick and easy reference. The hardened steel tip is 120mm long with a ball tip and replacements are also available.

Infinity competition tool line

Creation Model have released their new Infinity tool line. All tools feature the ultra-lightweight machined aluminium handle that is finished perfectly with the Team Infinity logo and black and red anodising. The overall thickness and knurling position have been optimised to provide an excellent grip. The tips are made of carbide steel and are perfectly sized to fit each size of screw head. Available as a set, each of the tools is also sold separately with spare tips also available. Completing the extensive range is a glow plug spanner, this multi-tool can be used to install and remove glow plugs (8mm sockets), flywheel nuts (10mm sockets), and cap screws (5mm hex wrenches) for the suspension balls on GP racing cars. The available tools include hex tips for 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm, ball tip hex drivers in 2.0mm & 2.5mm, flat head and arm reamer both in 3.0mm and finally a 5.5mm & 7.0mm socket driver.

Zuykov 1/10 TC setup station

Zuykov, new brand of Russian TC driver Denis Zuykov have released amongst other things, this TC setup station. The idea behind this product is that the kit contains everything you need to set up your car including camber, caster, toe, EPA, droop and ride height. The scale for the camber setting is not at the bottom as usual, but at the top of the setup wheel. This scale is closer to the eyes and its location is much more convenient. Each setup wheel uses 2 bearings for a smooth movement and a scale at the top allows for minimal movement of the bottom over the setup board, greatly increasing accuracy. The top plate can be used on cars up to 210mm wide, adjustable from 40mm out to 40mm in. For owners of Awesomatix A800 the kit includes measuring caster blocks. Thanks to the scale on the side of the setup wheel, the caster and camber can be adjusted simultaneously without the need for a calipers. To change the length of the turnbuckle, there is a 3mm and 4mm wrench in the box.
