The RC Maniax Arena in Izumi near Osaka, Japan held their 6.5th Anniversary race this past weekend. The race saw the running of 4WD Modified and Stock classes and it had Kyosho’s Kohta Akimoto walking away with the TQ and win in the 4WD Mod Buggy class. Yusuke Sugiura came in 2nd for his new 1/10th chassis sponsors Yokomo as RC car icon, Masami Hirosaka, ended the race on the 3 spot to round out the podium.

The 2019 ROAR Electric On-Road Carpet Nationals were hosted by ProLevel RC of Chesterfield, Missouri this past weekend. The event was held in the usual mix of rubber and foam tyre classes and in the premier Touring Modified category it was Sam Isaacs with the TQ and win from Kyle Klingforth in 2nd. Brandon Clements, Chris Adam and Keven Hebert all matched their qualifying positions to round out the top 5 results.

The opening round of the French 1/8th On-road National Championship was held in Ingrandes sur Vienne this past weekend. The weather mixed things up during the weekend and in the Elite category it was Christophe Louis who would male the best out of the conditions, taking the overall TQ while in the Electric Pan Car class it was Stephane Bouche who set the fastest time. Moving on to the finals and in the Elite class it was Romain Picard brought home the win in the Elite final in front of John Ermen on the runner-up spot and Anthony Abisset in 3rd. Over in the Electric class it was Romain Delaunay with the win from John Ermen 2nd and Stephane Bouche 3rd.
The Palm Desert RC Raceway held round 3 of the Grassroots Race Series this past weekend. Open Nitro Buggy saw Mugen’s Adam Drake walking away with the TQ and Adam would also bring home the win in the 20-minute A-main event, taking the overall victory two laps in front of Anthony Westergaard. HB Racing’ Cole Jenson would end the race on the 3 spot, some 7.6s behind Anthony. In the Open E-Buggy category Anthony Westergaard took the overall TQ but again it was Adam Drake with the overall win, leaving behind Anthony in 2nd some 6.9s down. Cole Jenson again snatched the final podium spot, two laps behind Adam and Anthony. Over in the Nitro Truggy class Adam Drake completed a clean sweep, taking home the TQ and win from Ryan Reese.
The opening round of the French 1/10th electric off-road national championship was hosted by the Sport RC 56 club in Merlevenez this past weekend. In the 2WD Mod Buggy class it was Mathieu Briere with the overall TQ after the five rounds of qualifying, leaving behind Julien Formentin and Clement Boda in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the triple A-mains however young Team Associated talent Clement would excel, and by winning A1 and A2 he would take the overall victory early and with one leg to spare. Yokomo’s Julien Formentin and Team Associated’s Julien Parnot could come in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Round 6 of the Danish electric on-road Championship was held at Skanderborg RC this past weekend. In the Formula class Jesper Rasmussen brought home the TQ and win from David Hansen in 2nd. Philip Pedersen, 2nd after the qualifiers had to settle for 3rd overall and in front of Lasse Moller Horup and Mike Hansen.

MCM RC of Ciserano, Italy held the Marka Racing Trophy this past weekend. The race was held in several electric on-road classes and in Touring Modified it was Gabriele Berselli (Xray) with the TQ and win. Xpress’ Daniele Ielasi came in 2nd overall from Yokomo’s Michele Manzo in 3rd.

The fourth and final round of the MRC Longwy Winter Series was held this past weekend. In the competitive Touring Stock Expert class it was Thomas Stenger with the overall TQ, beating Jacques Libar by only 0.16s. In the finals Thomas came out on top in A1, however he suffered a DNF in A2 while it was Jacques with the win. In the deciding A3 Thomas brought home the win only 0.12s in front of Jacques meaning he would snatch the overall from Jacques in 2nd and Tobias Späth in 3rd.
