Jared Phair takes double INES points series titles

The final round of the INES points series was hosted by 46RC recently. With watering mid-round the grip was more consistent but the tight, red clay track required running extra soft slicks with aggressive tyre sauce. In the 2WD and 4WD classes Jared Phair finished 2nd to take the overall titles from Stephen Maizer (PR Racing) 2nd and Bryan Kata (Team Associated) on the 3 spot with the two also rounding out the championship top 3 results.

The opening round of the Czech National Electric Off-road Championship was held in Hrotovice at the same venue as the popular Mibosport Cup. Already in practice Xray’s Kaja Novotny showed a pretty amazing performance in 2WD and Truck, however he struggled a bit in 4WD. Malaysian Electric National League Rd2 – Report

The second round of the Malaysian Electric National League was held at The Dirt Bureau RC Raceway, in 3StonePark, Malaysia. For the first time in Malaysia, this race was an open round to encourage participants from neighbouring countries to qualify on a Malaysian Ticket for the IFMAR World Championships. Although the track seemed visually simple, racers commented that it was all a deception as the technicalities were in the tricky combination jumps, pronounced chicanes, corners and table tops and a tempting long jump at the end of the back straights. The 2WD Modified class heats was a close race between current championship leader, Jade Lim (Team Associated), Jody Long (Xray) and Kelvin Yong (PR Racing) who won a heat each but it was Jade Lim who secured the TQ.
