Schumacher have announced that regular BRCA and Schumacher BTCC front runner James Hart has joined the team. James will compete in the BRCA Pro Stock Championship this year and Schumacher would like to welcome him to the team and wish him the best for the season.

The first round of the Portuguese Touring Car Nationals was held at the track of Maiorca close to Figueira da Foz in the North of Portugal. The weekend started on a pretty green track but once racing got underway the grip came up making for good racing conditions. At the end Jorge Simoes took the win with his Xray in front of TOP driver Jose Figueiredo and Helder Silva (Capricorn).

Xray have announced the re-signing of multiple USA champion Eric Anderson to the team for the 2015 season. Eric is focused on electric on-road racing and will attend at all the major national and international races in touring car and 1/12th classes including the ROAR Nationals, the AOC and the ETS season final. The Snowbirds, IIC, ROAR National and AOC International Champion has the following to say about the deal

The third round of the 2015 Speed King Tour was held at the Twin Ring Honguu outdoor tarmac track in the Aichi prefecture. The race marked the first outdoor round of the year and fortunately the weather held up fine. Current series leader Akio Sobue showed great speed from the first practice on and he was able to take the TQ in the Touring Car Modified class after the qualifiers. Track owner and veteran Yokomo racer Masayuki Oyaizu took the 2nd position on the grid and Hayato Ishioka came in 3rd with his VBC.

This year’s East Hungarian Championships consistent of seven events run at different tracks all over Eastern Hungary. At the final round Janos Birinyi (Xray) took the TQ and win in the Touring Car Stock class despite having to help with organisation too. The win also handed Janos the overall championship. The remaining spots went to Tamas Pongho (Xray) and Norbert Rosinsky (Xray).

The weekend of the 25th of April sees two Slovakian National races held at the famous Hudy Racing Arena. The 5th round of the 2014/15 Slovakia Cup will be held followed by the Slovakia National 1/10th Modified Championship. Off-road racers can look forward to the participation of Xray’s Martin Bayer. The Badlands in Myrtle Beach, SC was the site of the 2015 Spring Sting with the annual race playing host to over 130 entries this year. In the Pro Buggy class John Michael Mcginty, coming from 2nd on the grid, would take the win in the 30 minute final despite being held up by traffic earlier in the race.

TheDirt Racing have announced the 2nd round of the USProCup to be held in Texas at the famous Thornhill racing circuit from May 8th to 10th. The Lonestar Challenge will be held on a rebuilt, slightly condensed outdoor track for closer racing action with the 1/10th classes racing at the new Jr. Indoor track. The event will see 1/8th Nitro Buggy, Truggy and E-Buggy racing along 2WD Modified, 4WD Modified, 2WD Stock, Stadium Truck and Short Course classes.
