HRC Racing Dual Star AC/DC charger

HRC Distribution have introduced the new HRC Racing Dual Star dual output AC/DC multi-chemistry charger. Offering two independent 100W outputs the device packs a bunch of features including up to 10A charge current per channel, a multiple security system for save and easy cell monitoring, it comes with two back-lit LCD screens and dual 4-button menu operation. The charger is usable with up to 6S LiXX batteries per channel, it offers a dedicated LiHV mode and utilises a black heatsink-design case. The features are rounded out by an USB port to power mobile devices or pit lamps and it comes including multi-language manuals.

Named Modified Maximum Mild, Muchmore’s smallest diameter and shortest modified rotor yet is best used in 5.5T to 8.5T low-grip off-road or 3.5T to 5.5T touring carpet applications while also excelling on big on-road tracks and in 3.5T 1S on-road racing. The small diameter and short length make for smooth acceleration and braking with exceptional high-speed performance. Yeah Racing Typhoon Signal 10 40mm fan

Yeah Racing have a new high-performance fan unit available, the Typhoon Signal 10 Master Competition. Named after the strongest hurricane level in the Saffir Simpson Scale the 40mm unit is high-voltage compatible, allowing to use it with up to 8.4V input, it is dual ball-raced, comes with highly heat-resistant black silicone wires and a Futaba-style connector.

Hobbywing V10 G2 titanium-bonded rotor

Coming from Hobbywing and made for the V10 G2 series of 540-size brushless motors is the titanium-bonded 5-12.5-U-T rotor. The replacement rotor will provide smoother acceleration in modified classes without loosing top speed, helping especially on lower traction surfaces where a quicker and more efficient acceleration out of corner can be achieves. The rotor was used with great success by Bruno Coelho and Nicholas lee and it is available now.

Fantom FR-1 v2T & v2R brushless motors

UK Fantom distributors Schumacher have introduced the FR-1 v2T and v2R spec racing brushless motors. The heart of the new v2 FR-1 series motors are the high-quality stators and rotors. The stators are made from premium Japanese Kawasaki steel and the new improved internal designs provide even lower ohm resistance, while at the same time provide more power and RPM. In addition, the rotors are manufactured using a premium grade neodymium formula, for high horsepower and fade resistance. The 13.5T motors are available in several variants, including “R” RPM and “T” torque specific offerings while the 17.5T comes also T and the 21.5T is an all-round item. All new V2 Spec Stock motors also have a non removable “BRCA approved” decal to prevent grey importation of above price limit motors. Without this decal in place, the motor is not BRCA legal.

Available as 105mm and 170mm variant the cables feature industry-standard connectors, making them compatible to all current controllers and motors, and they are made using super-flexible wires, allowing for neat and easy installation.

Muchmore AAA battery auto cut-off discharge tray

Muchmore have introduced the AAA battery auto cut-off discharge tray. Designed for AAA-size batteries exclusively the discharger tray is usable without additional power sources and it helps to maximise battery life and performance by securely discharging each cell individually down to a voltage of 0.9V. The tray features screw-type contacts and retainers, indicating LED lamps and a heat-dissipating aluminium case.

Team Orion competition speed controller – Teaser

Team Orion have released a first teaser image of their forthcoming competition brushless speed controller. By the looks of things the speedo in question will be the follow-up model of the successful R10.1 Pro 1/10th ESC with a new, compact 1/8th controller being possible also.
