Offering dual ball bearings, a high airflow and 2S LiPo compatibility the fan is ideal for motor cooling duties in touring cars but also for off-road vehicles. New from Reedy comes a dedicated LiPo battery pack for nitro starter boxes. Offering a capacity of 2100mAh the 14.8V softcase pack is of a small footprint at 103x35x28mm and it weighs in at 209g. This makes the battery easy to install and it is barely noticeable during transport to and from the track. A high discharge race of 20C makes for a lot of power while the pre-installed T-plug connector and XH balancer plug allows for easy charging and secure balancing.

New from Reedy comes the 3400mAh 2S low-profile competition LiPo battery pack. Low-profile shorty batteries are quickly becoming the favoured configuration for 2WD and 4WD buggies thanks to their light weight and low centre of gravity. Reedy’s new offering provides 3400mAh capacity for modified class racers while a 50C discharge rating smooths the power output to reduce lap times. The hardcase battery utilises 4mm low-resistance sockets, it meets ROAR, EFRA, BRCA and IFMAR specifications, measures 93x47x18.5mm and it weighs in at only 155g.

Yuki Model have introduced the Amass T-type connectors. Compatible with the iconic Deans plugs the connectors are of a new design with a rear cap that does away with the need to shrink-wrap the wires and solder posts, resulting in a cleaner looking and easier to handle connector. The cap features an inner partition wall that separates both poles so they will not short cut and the metal connector plates sport a high-quality gold-plating for reduced resistance and minimised burn-off for best possible durability.

Reedy have a new 4S 14.8V high-performance LiPo battery pack for 1/8th scale applications available. Even though there is a nearly 10 percent increase in capacity compared to its predecessor, there is no increase in weight, which makes it easy to achieve perfect left/right weight distribution in a typical 1/8th e-Buggy. Low-resistance 5mm power sockets offer great convenience while a durable hard case protects the battery from damage. Three 2mm balance ports allow for balance charging using the included balance charge harness and the pack also included two 5mm sockets.

Coming from HPI Racing and made for the Baja 5B Flux large scale buggy is the Ultimate Power Pack set. Included are two softcase 14.8V 5300mAh 60C LiPo battery packs that snuggly fit into the buggy’s tough plastic battery box. The packs come pre-wired with T-type connectors and also included is a suitable jumper wire. Despite fitting into other vehicles HPI strongly recommend to use the batteries only in cars with battery boxes to not leave them unprotected from the elements.

Available now from Motiv is the HV Super Fan with fan guard. The high-speed super fan features dual ball bearings and is rated to handle 8.4 volts with ease but is still strong enough to have good air flow running off lower voltage. Included is a 3D-printed fan guard to save that precious pinky from the threat of annihilation.
